Brain Log S2 Ep5 - Storm Gazing 

I like watching the Brian Logs late at night, when it's completely quiet, and be as relax as possible. These videos are very relaxing and are making me really comfortable. And I like the gloomy rainy weather too! Go winter!

I love it when rain and thunder appear. When it rains i go outside and in to the woods where it's quiet. The silent sound of raindrops falling on to the leafs, and to the ground is relaxing.

I love rain. There's something almost peaceful and serine about hearing the raindrops hit against the window :p

I live in Portland, it rains a lot. I LOVE IT. This past winter there was some snow days and I just loved staying in my pi's, wrapping myself up in a blanket with a cup of tea, watching youtube and enjoying the snow. Sadness can be kinda nice.... weird but true. I will say tho, when it is really rainy for like days and weeks and then I wake up one morning and the birds are chirping and the sun is streaming in on my face, it is so nice.

I am drawn to the windows when I see the flash of lightning. I love to watch the weather, especially when it's bad weather.

I love thunder and lightning storms and I love listening to the rain. I have sat in the car with my mom just to hear the rain beat down on the roof. I have also taken my son out into our yard with an umbrella so we could be out in the rain and listen to the rain on our umbrella. The most fantastic and beautiful weather I have ever seen was lightning in a snowstorm. I have only seen it once though and would love to see it again. :)

Not crazy about storms, but can remember that since grade school I've enjoyed overcast days. People seem to move more slowly and be quieter, calmer. I like that.

Growing up in South Florida was great for rain, lots and lots of it. Especially in the summer. We would switch over from playing ball, to skimming on pieces of plywood. Today, you can buy fancy skimboards. If you got cold, you jumped in a canal, the water was warmer than the rain. One problem, Florida leads all states in lightning deaths.

The rain is my fave! I looooove a grey sky with big billowing black clouds. Thunder and lighting....i love the smell of it when it rains,...i open all the windows and light some candles and read a good book, or like you i sit outside on the front porch and enjoy the storm. I am in a much happier mood when the sky is grey than if it is sunny outside.

I've always loved the stormy weather. Especially since I live in Arizona, where the weather never seems to change from hot to hell. Something about the storms plus "moody" music gives me comfort.

I love stormy weather and I'm so sad that it hasn't rained by me in forever! I'm praying to the rain gods and doing rain dances! Also, I hope you get well soon! Being sick is only fun when you're not actually sick but you pretend so you can skip school... Which I only did on rainy days so I could sit at home and enjoy it.

I used to be terrified of thunderstorms as a child, but now I love to watch thunderstorms!!!! I also like it when the weather is gloomy too!! It gives me a reason to sleep in late if I am not working!!!!

I enjoy storm gazing. If we have a storm I just go outside and sit on our porch swing to watch the dark, gloomy sky! Even more so at night! ;D

I like storms. I would take videos of them and play them in slow motion to see the lightning, and that one paused second when it lights up the night skies. I think it's amazing.

I just got a call from a guy I played football with in high school. I hadn't spoke to him since 1971. Picked up right where we left off. Life is a wonderful thing.

Sometimes taking on a new job that doesn't deal with music can make me more creative. The times I've worked only on music, I'm less creative when that's all I'm doing is trying to create new music, which we all know is not easy. From what I've heard you are really talented and have a real talent so stay with it!

I was lucky enough to have lived a while in Spain (Mallorca) I Loved sitting and wahtching the storms. I found them inspiring and exiting. Inside your head is intresting no matter what the topic so as long as it's warm and dry i will keep visiting.

These make me feel like Callie is one of my best friends.

I've always loved the rain, and watching this just makes more sense as to why I do. Oh, and I loved the phrase "Electric Ballet". I've never heard of it put that way before. Beautiful.

You're not depressing and gothic, I like storms too! When I was little we lived in a condo I would sit on my family's balcony with my toys or books and just chill while it rained/stormed right in front of me...I loved it!

I love when the sky is grey and gloomy like. I am my most happiest during those days. Most of my friends think I am nuts as they all think sunny days are the best.

I love the rain! My family thinks I'm weird but o well. We live in the desert of California that barely gets rain anyways so I come to appreciate it more when the dark clouds come to say hi to me.

Then I explain that your an "Old Fashioned Story Teller." That they have to pay attention to your words, while loving the music.

I sooo hear you on the rain and gloomy weather. I feel so much better when it's gloomy and I'm at work, sunny days when I'm stuck inside sucks anyway. When it rains, I feel like the heavens understand my pain and is crying just for me.

I generally dislike rain because it gets my dogs with such muddy paws and I have to bring them in generally withing 10 minutes.

I currently live in Los Angeles and people think I'm crazy for wanting to move to a place that is gloomy and rainy for the majority of the year because we have the "perfect" weather here. I'm just happiest and at my most comfortable when the sun is hiding and the sky is crying. I long for days of rain. Drought or no drought, it never rains enough in LA for me to be happy with this weather long-term.

I like thunder, heavy rain, heavy wind etc. As long as no-one dies I think thats fun.

I love watching storms. I enjoy seeing the lightning dance through the sky at night. I also enjoy watching the clouds and sunsets and so on. There have been some sunsets/storms where I felt like I had to just capture the moment(on video) for later and then there are others where I just enjoyed being able to sit and enjoy the view of all that was happening. I don't mind stormy weather. Me and my family used to sit and watch at the lightning during thunder storms.

The Southeast is well past peach season, it's in early summer.

I never thought of rain as gloomy... I still think of it as God giving nature a drink of fresh water. I've lived in the jungle, and the desert... I much prefer the jungle. Mosquitoes... not so much, but that's life.

PEACHES!!! Although Georgia "calls" itself the "Peach State," South Carolina grows more and better peaches. I was stationed in South Carolina while in the Army, and then we moved there when my wife worked at Greenville Tech. We went peach pickin' every year. WE LOVE PEACHES!!!

Trust me if you live in England like I do you will get feedup of rain.

I love storms at night while I'm sleeping except for it tends to happen when I'm spending the night at my boyfriend's and I get worried that my car will get flooded (it's happened) and then my Dad (who would end up paying for this problem) will know I was sleeping at my boyfriend's instead of in my apartment on the 5th floor where the flooding of my car wouldn't happen... :P

Callie, I can tell by your collection that you have the 1987 "Revolver" CD and not the 2009 remaster of it. WHY, in the name of everything that's good? :) PS. I also see that you have a *proper* copy of "The Bends". I also have the CD, but it's a bootleg. Got it as my Christmas wish a couple of years ago, haha!

those aren't proper peaches! those look like California peaches, you need to go to www.lanesouthernorchards.com and get some Grade A's the great big Juicy ones where the juice runs down your arms while you eat them and if there's any of those left you make Peach cobbler out of them.. peach pie? what is that some yankee thing? :o) That couch looks really comfy , makes me miss the over stuffed leather one we had. have to admit it's really nice seeing you happy again too. it can't rain or be sunny all the time God would get tired hearing all the complaining people would do because no matter what if it was sunny all the time or raining every day someone would complain. someone ALWAYS complains i think it's in our nature. love the videos , can't wait for the next ones. but remember cobbler not pie! lol
