Recipe & Ingredients
4 Mutton Brains
1 Teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 Teaspoon Chili flakes
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1-1/2 Teaspoon chopped garlic
1/2 Teaspoon Black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
1 Tablespoon ginger / garlic paste
1 Tablespoon sliced ginger
2 Tablespoon Yogurt
1 Teaspoon Fenugreek leaves
2 Medium chopped onions
3 Medium Sliced Tomatoes
First we will wash mutton brains and then boil it for 5 Minutes. In boiling water we will add 1 Tbsp of ginger / garlic paste, to eliminate any odour from brain.
After boiling brain, we will un-vein it and clean it as shown in the video.
Now on a tawa or a pan we will add oil, 2 Medium chopped onions
3 Medium Sliced Tomatoes, 1 Teaspoon red chili powder,
1/2 Teaspoon Chili flakes, 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder, 1-1/2 Teaspoon chopped garlic, 1 Tablespoon sliced ginger and add boiled brains in it. We will add 1/2 cup water on tawa and will cook it for 8-10 Minutes.
After this we will add 2 thinky cut green chillies and cook it for another 2-3 minutes. Then we will add 2 Tbsp yogurt and again cook for a minutes or two.
Lastly we will add 1/2 Tsp black pepper, 1/2 Tsp Corainder powder, 1 Tsp Fenugreek leaves and cook for 2 minutes. Now our brain masala is ready to be served and garnish it with thinly slices of ginger and fresh coriander.
