I am not in the medical field, but my thought is to compare the genes of patients' tumour cells with the patients' normal non cancerous cells and the difference between the two may bring some answers. Or am and tt I being a dimmy bat here and too simplistic? A fabulous talk. Fascinating stuff!!! xxxx

Wifes been living with the fall out of her treatment of her brain tumor done 20 yrs. ago and it hasn't been fun or easy for either one of us. In 20 yrs. not is new.

I have a recurrent brain tumor at my brainstem(not cancerous, but would have killed me), and have had surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, all which have been successful in treating my cancer, thank god. My personal experience with cancer has made me want to give back to the community that has allowed me to stay alive for almost 10 years following my initial diagnosis. How would you, or anyone recommend that I go about getting involved in the research, and development world of this field of biology?
