The Day They Thought I Had A Brain Tumor But Actually Had A Mini Stroke
This is the video footage of me when I was taken into hospital and assessed all night as they thought my cancer had spread to my brain! Turns out I had a mini stroke or TIA. Luckily they did find another lump when examining me, which is going to be checked this week.

He had possibly the worst type of cancer there is. It was growing inside AND to outside of his body. I can’t begin to imagine the pain. He was ridiculously amazing. A precious person. Didn’t know him. But will remember and respect him forever.

There is no magic bullet to stop cancer...especially certain forms of cancer as Dan had. Dan was absolutely right when he stated on several videos, that we must demand more and in-depth research into these very rare types of very aggressive cancer, and cancer in general. RIP, our lovely Dan. Fly High.

I am watching and crying as well. I miss his positivity and upbeat spirit. I wanted him to stay, but I knew that he was suffering so much. I find comfort in knowing that he is free from pain and frustration and worry. RIP Dan. We will never forget all of the good that you brought into this world. We will always love you!

Three years later, I still think of him, he emailed me in the early days when people weren’t even believing he had cancer, I loved seeing him marry because, I hope she is doing well and all his family, I lost my partner to cancer and the pain in my heart is agony x

I'm sad I've only recently discovered Dan's stories. What an amazing grace he had through this. When he said he was going to beat his cancer and looked right into the camera after, may have been the most gut wrenching things I've witnessed. Only the good die young...

I stumbled across Dan's story when searching for painless suicide methods. Dan outlined reasons as to why one shouldn't do it. I know he's gone and what an empty space there must be in his families life. They must also be incredibly proud of how he gave of himself to help others. Today, Dan's video stopped me from making a terrible mistake, in choosing to end my life. Even in death, Daniel, you're saving lives and helping people. You are an angel, heavens gane Is our loss. RIP and thank you for helping me out by putting things into perspective. Lots of love to Dan's family. 💓💓💓💓💓💓

I hope you read my post on your 28th Feb regarding diet. There is hope my cancer had metastasized to my brain, but I have been cancer free for years. God bless you so much you dear man. I hate to see anyone get upset and cry. We all wish this disease didn’t exist but for it to happen to someone like you who I feel has so much goodness to offer this world breaks my heart. You were one hell of a brave man Dan, I have cancer and have to endure those CT scans every three months I try and be brave and change the things I can and except the things I can’t con Stan feel sick constantly feel dizzy and weak. I hope and pray pee wee you are having a great time in spirit I know this isn’t the be all and end all. I can't even begin to imagine how scared and frightened you was when being told you may have a brain tumour, and thank goodness it has not spread to your brain. You dealt with everything so well and your positive thinking sure is helping! I feel for you SO much here. I've been responsible for caring for my parents for years now, and have spent countless hours in the emergency room and hospital, and what goes on in there takes forever and plays huge games with your mind. As if it weren't bad enough that you were feeling sick before you went in, the waiting game makes it worse. So happy it hasn't spread. xx

Thank you for posting your videos. My dad was killed this summer when he was hit from behind by a tractor trailor. It's just so horrible the things that happen to us in this life. I wish I had had the time to say goodbye to him and to tell him things I wanted to say. How scary this must be for you, especially when you were at home and were losing consciousness and were having a hard time breathing. You seemed visibly relieved when the ambulance people were there. At least you weren't alone at the hospital. I cannot believe that someone in your state is not kept in the hospital 24/7/

oh okay, I see. It makes a difference where you want to be, I'm sure. I would rather be under the care of nurses where my pain needs and other needs could be monitored and met all the time rather than left to my own devices at home. I can think of nothing scarier than being at home like that alone while in pain and with a stroke coming on.

Watching this, watching him go through this with only his family, but often alone or with his partner, it brings it home just how absolutely lonely dying really is. I was screaming in my head, "Why do YOU have to call an ambulance, why are you sitting on the edge of the bed waiting alone for them to arrive?!" WE'LL call them! WE'LL wait with you and hold your hand or rub your back...and then I remembered....Dying is cruel a lonely business.

I don't know you hunnie but this video was so raw to watch and I just wanted to reach out and hold your hand. I was so nervous for you waiting for your results from the MRI. I'm so relieved for you that your cancer hasn't spread but I'm just sorry to see the pain and discomfort you are going through. I think you produce excellent videos, you show the good, the bad and the ugly, no filter and you haven't lost your sense of humour. Hope your pain is under control at the moment and you're feeling better. Sending hugs xxxx

Watching you go from being so cheerful and coping to being in so much pain and fed up in one video has broken my heart, please know how many people love you and care about you! You can do this, we all believe in you! It’s not about how long you live it’s about how you live your life, enjoy everyday, love and laugh and never give up hope❤️

I've just found your videos today. I have watched a few of them, my heart hurts for you and is breaking. I can't imagine what you are going through. I have a 31 year old son, this is just unimaginable. Please know that I will be praying so hard for you. You are a beautiful person. Hang in there!

Hope your spirt is at peace and in a new life now and wish you didn’t have to suffer for so long in this one. I know you held on until the last moments of life but I would not have thought any less of you if you did decide to let go sooner. I find your bravery and hope an amazing strength and your story will definitely be road to follow for all. Your life will remain alive for us to see from time to time and to remind us of ours.
