There are a couple of projects underway at the moment to document these events further. I feel its an era worth remembering and recording. It played such a major part in my life, as I'm sure it did to so many others.
Thank you to everyone who came together and contributed their energy to these parties. They were epic times. Details of one of the current nostalgia projects are as follows:
EA 23 Years of Rave - A Time Machine Project
This project will delve deep into the history of the East Anglian free party movement covering the last 23 years. The mission is to gather and archive precious memories that hold great insight into the dance music culture that existed during this time. Collaborating with individuals that were present. The vision is to collect video footage, photos, flyers, music, art and collective memoirs that build a picture of the scene, therefore preserving its history and so that the memories can live on. Once gathered the memorabilia will be put together to create a documentary & exhibition hopefully leading to enough material to create a book.
This is a collective project and we need as much help to gather the memories from all of you.
