I really enjoyed your video! At first, I thought this was a channel with thousands of subscribers because the quality was so good. The way you explained how music subconsciously influences us was eye-opening. For example, I’ve been listening to a lot more rap lately, and I’ve realized my attitude toward certain things has changed. Of course, that could be part of growing up, but since I started listening to more rap, I’ve noticed that I focus more on money, clothes, and material things, which wasn’t the case as much when I was into rock. Your video really made me reflect on how much music shapes our mindset. Keep up the great work-I’m looking forward to seeing more content from you!

Thanks for sharing your experience with how rap may have altered your views, what did you listen to growing up? Glad to have you on board, thanks for watching :)

@@WakingsCall I used to listen to a lot of radio music growing up, but not much else. When I did get into something, it was mostly rock music that really fascinated and influenced me. It even inspired me to pick up the guitar! :) Looking forward to seeing more of your videos, by the way-you're doing a great job!

This is hard to hear but inspiring 🙌🏻🫂 Massive music industries intensifying this feelings and mind states, normalizing depression, violence, anxiety, self hate, racism, low esteem and so forth, everything from a low level of manipulation and harm. As a true fellow of your work, I have the certainty to say this has been a unique experience for myself, the music and soundtracks you have created so far, are great allies to find one self on the path between choosing a challenging, impactful and exciting authentic life and an easy normal acceptable one. Thanks for creating this movement, life enhancer musical journey. ♥️

growing i never was into the populatr music and i couldn't sing all the words and felt like an outcast but over the years i think i never want to learn these words. there is so much great music to explore. I was lucky my parents gifted me a piano at the age of 5 and have been playing ever since, 33 now. people i meet i ask them what kinda music do they listen to or who is their favorite artist. a lot of NPC artist from females. dudes have a little more variety. the more obscure the better. really cool video. thanks for sharing.

that's a unique story! what a great gift from you parents, how did creating your own music shape what you've listened to over the years? Kinda similar for me, I was brainwashed with Christian music growing up, but played violin all through childhood, it wasn't till college where I fell into the rabbit hole of more mainstream music. since then it's been a journey to find my own taste, exploring music that led me to feel more hopeful and inspired about life! Thanks for commenting, great to hear from another music artist!

Thank you for doing this important work. I also hope to create music with the same intention in the future. Some of my favorite conscious artists: - Aisha Badru - Rising Appalachias - Nakho Bear (love his acoustic music). - Livingston - Macklemore is actually a very commited and engaged creator - Beautiful Chorus - Ksenia Luki - Xavier Rudd - Asa (Jailer, Bibanke,...) To name a few...

Hey Etienne! Thanks for the comment, that’s a great intention. What style of music do you want to create? And thanks for that list of artists, I've only hear of a few of them, more to experience!

I grew up with goth and metal music and I wholeheartedly agree. I can't even listen to lyrical music now. I caught onto this many years ago.

@@WakingsCall It started when I went on a detox of 100% raw fruit diet to clear psoriasis, which I did. Took me 12 months but within this time frame other things started to happen. Its very hard to explain. Old negative emotions from throughout my life emerged and were released. The detox was physically but also emotionally tough. So after 6-7 months I was suddenly very calm. Every thing felt different. I started to feel embarrassed listening to the music I had listened to all these years. It just sounded so cornball and depressing. Then I could see it, what it was really all about, the sinister meaning behind the lyrics, the band names etc. The first trigger, I happen to see an image of Metallica's early poster/album cover which was a toilet with the slogan metal up your ass written across it. Like HOW did I not notice the absolute embarrassing stupidity of it all. Its like a veil was lifted. Today I laugh but shake my head when I see Metallica lower a huge toilet on stage while people clap. Talk about a symbol of negativity... A huge crapper really does sum it all up.

That’s a powerful journey, it sounds like there was a significant inner and outer transformation. I’m fascinated by how you NOTICED it! Maybe it had been there the whole time but you have the awareness to see it now. What are some instrumental/non-lyrical artists you listen to now? Some of my favorites right now are - Tony Anderson - Jon Hopkins - Ioto - Sigur rose (kinda non lyrical)

@@WakingsCall Well I was very young and it was over 20 years ago so I've had a lot of time to take it all in. It was a powerful journey. I remember the guy who told me to switch my diet to raw fruit and what he said. . He said, to be aware, fruit is ruthless, there is no hiding place. My god he was right, it really is. It's the most highly electrical food on this planet. Fruit reveals before it heals. Sigur rose I know well. Mostly I love film soundtracks like The Fountain by Clint Mansell or Hams Zimmer. Other times it's classical like Vivaldi. I tended to stay away from lyrical content but seeing your video has peaked my curiosity so I will certainly look into your music and others you have suggested. You've given me food for thought. The only advice I can give you is to make your diet at least 60% raw fruit to maintain a healthy body and mind. A 100% if you ever get ill. Cooked foods are the cause of 99.9% of all diseases.
