Idk how much you guys follow skateboarding but it was on a thrasher magazine skateboard trip he talks about it on the 9 club it's wierd to see neckface on the all gas no breaks first podcast.
Like I knew Andrew had interview skills from his previous vids but this podcast is really showcasing those skills! He's a natural! Doesn't interrupt, doesn't talk too much about himself but is still relatable and makes the interviewee comfortable. He has good timing. I don't even know Neckface but I watched the whole thing.
Yeah as soon as I heard RIP I was like oh shit this is a real real accident not for play play. I mean it’s almost more gnarly for the fact that everyone survived, including the woman with the baby.
@@skunkrat01 if you look up the footage "nuge Africa brakes go out" or add neck face into the search, iuno, you'll see that this was a pretty gnarly thing.. Thankfully they were all skaters so they can handle pain. P-stone was a hard partier and so the young bucks he hung around with went the same way a lot of the time. CK gets out of jail in around a year or at least that's when he's eligible for parole
This is actually a refreshing Podcast. It's not social media "influencers", or RU-vidrs, for a change. I didn't even know who this dude was and I loved it. Good stuff
For anyone who doesn't know, Andrew, the guy you're seeing in these interviews and the mind behind All Gas No Brakes, is done with this channel. He got screwed over by a predatory contract from Doing Things Media. "All Gas No Brakes" as a brand is now dead and nothing new will be uploaded. The All Gas No Brakes Patreon was killed, too. We'll have to see what Andrew does next, but it won't be under anything called "All Gas No Brakes." You can give your thanks to Doing Things Media.
Well not all podcasts are just people talking. Many are fully performed and edited shows, many of the best in fact. I like all kinds, but Rogan and youtube have created this bastardized idea of what a podcast entails lol. I like this style too when done well but Last Podcast on the Left for example is an incredible true crime/paranormal comedy show that also has lots of deep research while being hilarious often. Very planned out but also improvised in parts. It's a whole show, not just a conversation and that's just one example. There is something for everyone out there. Most are not even on video but have extensive audio editing to polish the shows.
@@zerker08I think they understand that. You can have planned out and performed 'shows' in the audio format. I think what they were trying to get across is that not all podcasts are just interviews/ people talkin
When you guys talk about intense subjects the background should be moving faster when the conversation is a little slow the background should be moving slower lol
Andrew and his team are no longer part of this project. They got forced out by the company that provided the RV. Unsubscribe, stop your patreon payments.
@@spaltmass did u even checked channel 5? All gas no break has been dead for 7 months and there are 6 new videos with Andrew on channel 5. Vids that wasn't uploaded here. Idk what more do u want. Go watch Andrew new content, it's pretty good :D
I like that he made me think of the word sketchy in a different way. Now I’m wondering how it came to mean what it does. Like people weren’t fully drawn so they were suspicious so that became sketchy?? Did it have something to do with police sketches or did it come about before that?
hey man, this is great. trust your instincts and interview interesenting people. There's already enough podcasts with the average, famous, boring celebrity. The artwork is sick too! Keep it up
When going down steep hills if you ride the brakes they will over heat and fail. You gotta go low gear and pump them. Feels terrible but at least you won't be all gas no brakes.
I love Neckface, he’s such an important part of skateboarding and his art is insane... but, at the same time, as I get older, I realize that a lot of successful 90’s skateboarders that I looked up to as a kid, missed out on some life experiences and development to the point that they’re almost stunted. I don’t know.
Blair Johnson yeah I absolutely agree. I think the best thing to do is allow the inspiration to motivate us to create and be who we want to be, while also realizing the shortcomings of artists and skateboarders before us so that we can then attempt to improve our personal experiences as a whole. Idk either though
bb22118952025 Yea, I guess looking up to anyone you have to keep it in perspective. Aspire to the develop qualities and skills that you admire, while also developing your own.
This is a perfect amalgamation of Andrew's interview style. I love his normal videos but it's nice to see him have a long conversation where he gets to ask loads of questions
deep tissue massage as a child management technique is really forward thinking, whoa. shout out to your parents for diverting your emotions instead of punishing you for them. no wonder you are such an understanding person! loving brake check as a name, keep it up andrew!
They did it until he was 7 he said. Its not the reason he's a caring person its the reason he's fucked up. Not saying beating your kids is any better but that message shit sounds creepy AF.
never understand the way of thinking that would say massaging your kids, to divert their emotions, would fuck them up. I don't get that. it depends on the kid, but that'd definitely diffuse a lot of tension and anger in the situation in general. teaches them to calm down instead of doing something rash just because they're upset... better emotional management type of vibes
Aussie here. Sydney was sick prior to 2013. The conservative government starting heavily regulating nightclubs, live music venues, etc because of this trend, "dubbed" king hit. People would run-up to a stranger and would punch them as hard as they could. A few people died. Then the government brought in a lockout law, you couldn't enter a venue after 1:30 am, it also gave residents more power to complain about venues and shut them down. It was all pretty corrupt as well, the casino was exempt because they gave big donations to the conservative party. It pretty much destroyed Sydney! then you add all the cuts to the creative industry, most young people including my self moved down to Melbourne.
Sounds like you are complaining about nothing. Like people died from getting punched and there head hitting the pavement and not even a fight just cold cocked... thats what we call a pussy here in kansas
