Jim,you belong in Hollywood ! This feels like almost being in the Dracula Movie from 1992,you are more than amazing ,such a spitting image of Gary Oldman!
@@Scaevola9449 I used Hollywood as a symbol of movies and acting as we all know ,didn't wanna dig deeper wether it's nepotism or not ,and the last thing I would do is to Insult Jim,he is the best
@@mumlee0127 she did a collab with TingleSmith, ASMR, and Jim was actually in that one too. He did a Robin Hood ASMR. She was a maid Marian and Jim, of course was the sheriff of Nottingham.😄
Each Dracula is amazing in their own right. However, Gary Oldman’s version always held my heart and had me longing for that love he had for Mina. This is perfect, and it’s made me giddy 😂😂.
It's the perfect mix of sensual and terrifying. I love Oldman as Dracula. He was my first exposure to Dracula and the canon of Vlad/Dracula. I was 5 or 6. Mom exposed me to horror movies at an early age. Including but not limited to The Howling, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Silence of the Lambs, anything Stephen King, Tales from the Crypt, Child's Play, Tales from The Hood, Children of the Corn and Leprechaun. Now I'm a witch. Lol
Three words and I was transported back to being a teenage demi-goth, wide-eyed and breathless at a late-night screening of Bram Stoker's Dracula, popcorn and soda utterly forgotten in the presence of that towering performance. And here is another, equally magnificent, and once again, I am breathless. This is perfection at a level that can only be called art and we are fortunate mortals indeed to witness it. Thank you as always for sharing your boundless talent with us!
Gary Oldman's Dracula speaks to my soul, and you have given him a run for his money. I could listen to you in this character for eternity. "I have crossed oceans of time to find you..."
I'm convinced at this point that Jim is just another one of Gary Oldman's roles that is so thorough and immersive that none of us question it. This whole channel is just Gary Oldman portraying a super involved asmrtist that is into acting, costuming, set design, video production, audio production, script writing, and character design. My new headcannon is that Jim is actually Gary Oldman in disguise.
Vlad Dracul has always been a favorite of mine and you bring him to (if you pardon the wording) life right before my eyes. I have always seen him as tragic. The phrase "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" fits his tale so well. Your portrayal of him is beyond stellar, the sheer sense of sadness and loneliness bleeds from every word and gesture, the tiredness of eternity in the eyes, all these things create the tragic soul. Your choice of Beethoven continues with the emotional tugging of the heartstrings. I know you hadn't planned on doing another Dracul video, but I am oh so happy you made this. Your progression just in the last year has been amazing (yes, I'm quickly coming up on my 1 year of subscribing to your channel). In all honesty, I've tried watching other ASMartists and just can't get into them, there is something lacking. You have quite spoiled me for any other 😅😅 A few other notes before I close this long-winded word babble, I will be buying the music track from Bandcamp this coming Friday (even though I have the money set aside) because it will be Bandcamp Friday and every penny goes to the artist (and it is well deserved!) Thank you, Kristin, for letting me know that! Also. if one of your team could tell me where you get the paper used in this video, I would be most grateful. I am planning a surprise renewal of vows for my wonderful husband on our 24th anniversary (don't ask why the 24th, numerology, star placement etc. 😅😅). Since we had a renaissance style wedding, I want to recreate that, and the paper would be perfect for the invitations. And lastly, I know I haven't been commenting as much recently (I intend to remedy that because feedback is important) I just want to say a very big THANK YOU for all the time, creativity, and work you put into your channel. It is much appreciated. Light, Love, Happiness and, with permission, lots of hugs 🤗🤗🤗
@@riambratelarn1718 He's been making content for two years now! He doesnt do any video for his asmr, but his world building and character creation are superb!!
This is extremely creepy and sensual (an exquisite combination). I am utterly stunned by your resemblance to Gary Oldman, one of my all time favourites. I can imagine how long you must have spent putting this together, from clothing and makeup to the background images. Extremely well acted too. I'm also neuro-atypical and I am fascinated by the process, the preparations before filming, the objects, the meticulous attention to detail.
This movie has a huge fan following. They keep replaying the movie at a local movie theater every couple of years near where I grew up. This role-play really does it justice. Great job.
Visiting this again after 1 year. Jim, you’re just too damned good. ❤ The detail, intelligence, and sheer charismatic class of your videos are beyond sublime. 🙏🏽💋
This goes beyond anything else created on RU-vid surely? Your diverse range and commitment to each character blows me away each time. You’re one talented talented human. Thank you for sharing your skill and creations, this deserves an award! 🎭🧛♂️
Omg!!! You nailed Oldman spot fricking on! Looks, manner and voice. Oldman made me swoon in Dracula when I first saw it. And you just made me swoon.❤️❤️ this is just lovely! I needed to hear this ASMR tonight. I am so comforted right now. Hats off sir! You nailed it.🥰🥰
Did anyone else appreciate the details? Chapter marked See me Now: Signs: Cursed Curios [something: by?] Strange & Bizarre; Livery and Tailor Deliveries 😆 Chapter Pleasant Company: Getting more use of the POV blinking effect I see! (I like) MMM those tasty, tasty, SMOOTH match cuts into and out of The Absinthe Ritual Chapter marked And to Bed: The change in color grading of Vlad’s skin as his breath leaves him All the direct lines pulled from the script (“Tu eşti dragostea vieţii mele… vieţii mele”) Allusion to escaped wolf
As always, your ability to not only capture the look of a character, but their entire essence ( including voice and mannerism) is astounding. Not to mention your editing, realism, and over all quality…it’s just superb. You truly belong in cinema. Will continue to look forward to more, as always. Thanks for posting!
Shoot dood, this was so good, and the feeling still lingers this morning… My favorite version of the Oldman Dracula, performed impeccably and deeply. And the ending…… 🌹
Words can hardly describe this absolute masterpiece! It felt almost as if I was watching the movie instead of a youtube video. Your skills just get better and better Jim!
I love reading the comments on jims videos. Nice to see other people appreciate this just as much. So much thought put into these vids. I’m newer to the channel so it’s great to have so many vids I haven’t seen with these characters and ambiance.
My ice cold heart always melts when I hear that line from you Mr Dracula my sweet Prince Vlad "I have crossed oceans of time to find you" ❤️🥰🥰🥰🤩😍🤗🥴😵😳🥺😢💔
This is an amazing masterpiece, I was especially drawn in at the prologue, with the sound of Beethovens ‘Moonlight Sonata’ quietly playing in the background, I’m a sucker for the song, and you’ve used it in such a calming way. You’re one of the most greatest asmrists of this day and age, I thank you so much!
I've listening a lot of ASMR of vampires and, specially, Dracula. And i have to say that yours is THE BEST. Your accent, your eyes, the expressions of your face and hands and all the background work, cosplay and that little details that we love. You're amazing, hope to see more of your magnificent Dracula in the future. A big hug from Colombia. //Sorry 2 the bad english
As soon as I heard Moonlight Sonata, I was like ''yeahhh, classical music''. And as soon as you started speaking my face just went ''wtf''. This was great.
Wow, this was undeniably beautiful! I have a soft spot for both the book and movie, so this was a treat to watch. It’s really cool to see the progression of your work over time, you’re certainly talented!
Dracula has always been seductive in the old movies but less so ( to me) as we get to Hammer horror and beyond ( more gory) . Your combination of sensuality and spiritual rumination takes this to a higher level of ASMR- Much appreciated 🧛♀️🖤
My heart! 🖤❤️ Your Vlad is beyond wonderful - elegant and emotional, but keeping an air of mystery that draws you in so deep. Beautifully written and portrayed. All your previous Dracula vids are amazing, and some of my faves, but this is next level wow! Seriously, just… wow!
AAAAA words can't express how happy I am to see this made into an ASMR video! Absolutely love Gary Oldman's portrayal of Dracula and the justice you give it here is immaculate!!
What a beautiful and hauntingly alluring way you carried this video. It nearly mirrors my young adult dreams of Bram Stoker's version of Dracula. Thank you so much for gifting the world with your breathtaking (and heart throbbing) talent. This was an incredible journey to my inner (darkest) fantasy.
You’ve no idea how much I was hoping for more of my sweet Prince. I love this book and movie. You definitely do the actor and character justice and I can’t wait to listen to this!!!!❤
This was done a while ago, but I come back to it often. It is beautifully done and I would love to see you revisit this character if you ever feel so inclined!! Thank you for an amazing video ❤.
Wow. This has made my night. You are a complete genius and a maverick when it comes to this genre of video. I am completely inspired by your art every time you post, even the sillier ones!
If you could have heard the SHARP intake of breath when I saw that this was posted. This costume is SO NICE! I'm glad Dracula could make another appearance!
