Feel sorry for these new Landlords that do not realize evictions are almost imposable and tenants get away not paying rent for years. In No way will I rent out rooms as I am very AWARE.

My entire neighborhood has been completely destroyed by these houses that have a dozen people living in it. The trash in the neighborhood just piles up, more and more and more. Suitcases full of random things are discarded in the middle of the road and left there for weeks. Some have so many people living in them they need to take turns on who lives in the house, and who lives outside the house. Yes, there's people sleeping on the driveway against the garage at 3 AM in the morning.

Rooming houses should not be allowed. Leave them for the families looking to raise kids and keep the standard Canada was used to.

It's Brampton...why is anyone surprised by this. There's a reason I refuse to even set foot in Brampton and there's a reason for the city's reputation.

Doesn’t matter what laws or what requirements they have if there is no checks and balances done regularly. There’s no enforcement and these companies don’t even get so much as a slap on the wrist. I worked in gas for years in Brampton, this isn’t new.

Listen buddy, you maybe have single family houses but that neighborhood is GONE --- each house will be multifamily slum own by slum landlord. Used to live there 2 yrs ago. I live in the states and nine out of ten times if a news story on RU-vid has negative connotations on Canada it involves Brampton. Just the other day some guy and his family tried to skip out on a restaurant bill of a few hundred dollars and then threatened the staff.

Digging without locating the lines seems insane but i don't get the 'it's other people's responsibility if my kids wander into unmonitored construction areas' complaint, sounds like a parenting issue to me.
