Thomas Brodie Sangster whas 23 when he played Jojen Reed who was supposed to be 13. He also played Newt in the Maze Runner trilogy. The first Maze Runner movie was filmed 2013, the same year when he at the same time was in GoT . And was aired 2014. It's a great trilogy and if you haven't watch it already, i'll recommend it to you.

That scene with Cat talking about Jon Snow is probably my favorite dialogue of the show. It gets me sobbing every time. It's such a heavy story. And it really gives you insight into how she's handling all the recent and current events going on. It gives me goosebumps 🖤

My favorite is a Davos scene, THE Davos scene. I can't wait until they see it. I cry every time. I freaking love this show. Countless rewatches later, an embarrassing amount of reactions watched, and it still holds up.

💯There are several great monologues in the GoT and Cat's is definitely one of them (amazing performance from Michelle Fairley throughout the show). I also remember Maester Aemon's "love is the death of duty" in season one. But my favorites have not been delivered yet.

Never the fake, always the real. I do work/web editing with some big channels with over a million followers. One with over 7 million and let me tell you what. Hobbs and Devin are one of my favorite channels that I’ve ever found. They do comedy, action, games, and they’re a great duo. I honestly love helping out smaller channels more to be honest. Yet, Hobbs and Devin keep doing what you’re doing guys.

The kids aged 7 Years over the course of filming the show. Some seasons were more than a year wait for us to see. Bran was 12 and Arya 11 at the beginning of filming.

I know it’s easy to hate on Catelyn. But I have a soft spot for her. I’ve known people -women- with a petty streak. Even been in relationships with them. They’re not 100% evil. Just damaged. They’re missing something in themselves that makes them jealous and envious and they project their pain onto other people and hurt them. But they can grow. And realizing how they hurt others, and wanting to stop, is the first step. Here Cat has clearly taken that first step. Then she backslid like real people do all the time. But she owns that. Her honesty in this moment for me is one of the most powerful moments in the show and Michelle Fairley ate the shit out of that scene.

I always tear up at catelyns monologue about Jon snow. Yes it may not be Jon’s fault but it doesn’t excuse the betrayal she feels every time she sees him. But we see that even her bitter memories with Jon snow she wishes she could go back too compared to now.

FYI this episode is by far the most important in the entire series, it lays the groundwork for so much to come and there so many tiny details that no one picks up on the first time they watch it so I'd skim back through it if something doesn't make sense in the future

They kept most of the children throughout the show, except for Joffrey’s little brother. But you did briefly see the child actor who replaced him playing a different kid in an earlier episode. He must have made a good impression because they booted the other kid off the show and picked him.

The Lord Commander heard Rast telling Sam to just die. He's trying to teach Rast how to be a good man, he's trying to shut him up, and he's trying to both toughen up Sam while still getting him back home to the wall alive. It was the right call.

@nathanlindahl8336 You've got to look deeper into the story than just the surface stuff. Sam wasn't the person the show is making him out to be in the beginning, and in this episode. He wasn't the person his father saw. You're looking at him like his father did. Sam saw himself that way, but he was just as wrong as the rest. Jeor Mormont and Jon Snow, eventually, saw that. Sam was not a coward when it counted. A man can only be brave when he's afraid. How many of the rest of them dropped everything and ran? About 75%. The Lord Commander was trying to find out where Sam's strength lies. Like Tyrion, Sam has a curious mind. The Night's Watch needs men who are good at reading books and memorization. They don't have a library for nothing. Look harder. Characters are not who they start out as. Not even when they start out.

Thoros of Myr is one of the best sword fighters in Westeros. Arya was using a sword that was way too heavy for her. If she had needle, she would have still lost at this point, but would not have been so humiliated.

Cat is such a complex character Jon obviously was just a child and did not deserve to be treated the way he was but having to see someone who represents your husbands disloyalty everyday would be hard on anyone especially since it was something she would never imagine Ned doing. It’s not fair to treat Jon with hatred when Ned was the one who had the affair but our blame usually falls under the wrong person at times

The books show this better, but despite jamie being locked up and in shackles, he wasnt "doing good", he was BEATING brienne, he cut her several times even though she was in full plate and he was in SHACKLES and starving. Jamie is not a joke.

The books kinda expand on why they treat people like our boys Tyrion and JSnazzy so poorly. Basically in westeros being a bastard or disabled person is considered shameful like “not even the GODS/your DAD could make you right bro? Lol get lost.” Crazy.
