One of my favourite songs of all time. Turns out I'm a writer now. This is one of those songs that said "hey - you can try - no promises, but you can try". (Oh, and those Hollywood meeting peeps - fake. Stay true to yourself.) The imbalance between rich and poor is even more pronounced now. The Bran Van 3000 writers did good. Takes you right back to the 90's. Classic track and the piano at the end reminds me a little of that massive attack hit. I was 15 when this track came out now 41. Remember living in the U.S back in '07 and watching VH1 greatest 1 hit wonders....All time classic track.
I remember seeing over 20 years ago the girl in the red shirt in Calgary in a concert (more like a bar setting). And I remember someone who was there said to me, "You're really attracted to her aren't you". Yes, I conceded. I would love to meet her in person. Likely will never happen.
