Matchbox is a little better I think. The oversize tires on Hot wheels looks crazy.

Just got the matchbox one yesterday, matchbox has much better details and overall proportion than the hws nice review

I have both of these. The hot wheels wins for me because of roof. I think that the matchbox version goofed on this area. There should be two lines in the rear section of the just ahead of the engine bay. The matchbox only has one. The two lines are needed to allow the removable roof section to work on the real car. But i like the feel of matchbox casting. Given it was the first low cost casting it is nice. But the hot wheels takes it for me. When i was young i had the first redline custom corvette casting that was beat up on the track so having the small/ large wheel combo makes it a hot wheels to me. The details like rear end and slightly longer length works for me better. They are both nice in there own ways so it is nice have both in any collection.

Good points. Hot wheels did great in some areas like you pointed out. If only it had similar size tires front and back then it would’ve been a knockout win for HW.

@@voodoodiecast combine elements of the matchbox and hot wheels and you have a very nice corvette c8. However seeing this what is being offered they work. A simple retool on matchbox casting by adding the second rear line on the roof would help it out a bit. Remember the small retool hot wheels McLaren senna on the headlights. Matchbox could learn from this redesign/ retooling.

I love the license plate. Imagine if Matchbox made 50 of these, 1 for each state and made it a series. Would sell like crazy.

i just bought the hot wheels c8 today so I compare it with my c8 matchbox....I say matchbox is always at par with the detailing but hot wheels has better paint job 👍🏻👍🏻

I have the Hot Wheels one , both cars look amazing I prefer the Hot Wheels one because of the bright glossy energetic colour and the crafted shape and ridges are better

0:07 my mom got me this Exact Same Hot Wheels 2020 C8 Chevrolet Corvette from Amazon as my present because I liked this new color on the Corvette c8 and I no have this Same Hot Wheels 2020 c8 Corvette In the Blue Color added to my collection of Hot Wheels Corvettes!

@@voodoodiecast oh Thank You that's good to hear and I'm a Big Fan of Corvettes because I seen a lot of the on the Road in Real Life when I was with my Mom or with my Dad I seen different types of Corvettes out there and I did retired my older hot wheels Corvette I had for a long time because the old ones I had before were in bad condition because it had scratches everywhere so I managed to retured the red 69 cop Corvette the orange 75 Greenwood Corvette the red hot wheels corvette zr1 the red hot wheels corvette z06 along with a baby blue Corvette zr1 and the Corvette c6r and the white 2018 hot wheels 97 corvette from 2018 but I have replaced 5 of them with newer hot wheels Corvettes like the hot wheels 2019 purple 63 Corvette that came in the exclusive multi pack I have a hot wheels green 80s Corvette and a blue hot wheels 65 Corvette and now I now have the brand new Hot Wheels 2020 C8 Chevrolet Corvette along with a gray hot wheels corvette c8r!

The hotwheels has imprinted details but there not colored in Machbox has details coloured in

They’re even I guess. I’ll give hot wheels the slight edge due to matchbox has this ripple grooves on the edge of it’s plastic tire that can cause the slightest friction when rolling.

Ive noticed that the crome on matchbox cars last much longer than on hot wheels

That’s right, Matchbox chrome does last longer. Hot Wheels’ easily fades out.

Wll, I have Hot Wheels two piece set that comes with the truck, as well as Matchbox's version, however I also have Auto World's C8, as well as both versions from Greenlight, I do not own Mini GT's version, or Tomica's but think that Auto World's tire tread detail is more sportier than Greenlight's, though Greenlight's interior is a little better than Auto World's. Matchbox's has more detail than Hot Wheels, I hope to see if I can get Matchbox's Moving Parts version, if not, that's okay. There is more to cover with Auto World's and Greenlight's, but this is about Hot Wheels, and Matchbox, so if you do have a video compairing the aformentioned, then I would have a more thorough review. Matchbox: More detail and Realism, yet still cheap toys. Hot Wheels: Less Realism and Detail, focuses on Low Poly, probably

Both Stingray looks ugly than Tomica STD. Tomica Corvette C8 have much better proportion and sharp design, except the wheels. Tomica STD.'s identical ugly wheel ruin perpect design
