With regards the uploads Kev , it's all good fella. Fully appreciate you only wanting to put vids up that you are happy with and not just flood the channel for the sake of it . Worth the wait as they are entertaining and enjoyable 👍
Definitely man, it's very enjoyable to watch his videos he just has a different energy about it a lot of the other channels I feel like are too informal instead of remembering what RCS are about building something that's very cool and having fun with it not just the build
time and patience goes a long way in today's world. me and other subscribers to your channel will always be glad to see whatever you upload on this or on the main channel and we will always enjoy your content. hence the reason why...we smashed the bell and subscribed! enjoy your cuppa and see you next time!
Right on Kev put out stuff your proud of because if you like it most likely the rest of us Crazy Buggers will like it as well. Hold on to your money because your right about the real estate people were getting almost one third over asking here in Nova Scotia but now things are getting back to normal but the interest rates are a killer. Cheers and be well
Kev it doesn’t matter what video u make, or how long it takes, every video made by you has been enjoyed by all of your subscribers. We love your videos Kev, no matter how random they are. Never stop uploading.
Staying up a little late tonight? Your the coolest dude I know, even though I haven’t been able to shake your hand. Not yet! I’m coming to the UK in the near future. I’m aiming for Famjam next year. 👍
Back in the mid 2000’s my brother and I got into nitro RC. He had the original savage and it was insane for the time. It handled runaways, temper tantrums from a teenager and just insane abuse. My only gripe was the engines were so finicky to tune. You just answered all our frustrations with the fuel tank. If only 13 year old me would have known. I have a classic T-Maxx from 1999 and it is hands down nothing like a savage. It’s smaller and fragile.
After being in this hobby for 35 years, I can say that when I see the new models released, as they describe them, I am imagining the necessary upgrades and fixes. Like we see clearly where they are weak or need upgrading. The suggestion of future need of aftermarket and replacement parts is so obvious. I guess to the newb its SO AWESOME! but to me the purchase would be doubled at least.
The 3.3 Tqi circa 2017 t-maxx was the most reliable nitro truck I ever owned. Not as fast as the Savage xl but twice as tough and didn't require tuning every tank of fuel. I hated my xl, lol but I did have one of the originals then moved into lipos with the OG Flux. Really makes you sad when regardless of what nuts you use, it just ripped the center sections outta rims.
alex kowaliuk here from america just wanted to say i agree with u about spacing your vidoes out so the content is good and you dont get burnt out. id watch anything you put out but i think your right and keep up the good work and take a brake sometimes just my thoughts, cheers
Well.. here's an idea. WORLDS FIRST/FASTEST RC "POWERWHEEL" BASHER?.. MAX 4 COMBO(s)? or.. Maybe the Sausage gets 6x6 or F/R steering for an epic snow bash! Any interest in the new HPI Vorza(S) Flux line up,? Keep up the great content kev 💡🌚🚀🏂
Man RC of all kinds is the best thing i have in life, I really dont understand how it can be so much fun😂 You, Kev is the best youtuber for us rc nerds. Thank you for everything you do for us and take your time and enjoy life!🎉
Land Rover Monster Mud Bog Truck...lol I have a 10 year old Losi XT that had the same a arm pin issue... I used Cen bolts to fix the problem back then..
It's easy to get stuck on a plan and then be a bit lost when it doesn't go right, I put stuff on hold because I wasn't sure if I'd have to move. Very hard to press on under those circumstances. I remember working at a few places that'd be perfect for you years ago out in the villages, converted barns and the like.
The only thing I don't like about the Savage tank is how it flops about. With mine Ive put some stick on foam to absorb the bumping about and protects the tank from damage.
I know you've been busy and thank you for the fun content. Sometimes you gotta take care of your business before your pleasures. Looking forward to more fun content in the near future!!!🏎️💨🏁👍
Yeah Kev I'd say just move on to the next place you've been looking at, if the guy is just gonna waste your time then I'd say the he'll with it and look at the next place on your list. Your time is valuable and you don't need someone wasting yours. Best of luck!
Kev we never get bored of anything u post.. since I found your channel all the stuff you post is dope an fun watching.. you should drop a crazy azz motor in a 1966 Pontiac GTO Coupe
Hello from Murrieta California. Respect for the honesty about the videos. I would say it’s just entertaining watching you with your friends bashing rc’s. Excited about the savage XL.
New channel for racing only, I personally like watching those videos despite how boring you may think they are, gives a little unsure and fun into the ‘serious’ side of the hobby.
it will all come together in time mate!! i know only too well having no space to do anything lol would love the place your in haha i'm just looking forward toy you and tomly racing each other!! thats going to be epic!!
I have to be honest.. I use to work in a RC car shop and... when I used to see customers bring these in.... I used to RUN AND HIDE LOL, I hated working on the savage lol.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Some friends of mine are doing 24th scale crawlers winter challenge. Each person builds a portion of track and we go to each others house and run um. Your welcome to join.
You should consider moving to Johnson valley California lots of space out here in the high desert with dry lake beds, sand dunes and rocky mountains to play around, its where the famous king of the hammers takes place and you can do some rock crawling in your monster truck
Love any videos from you kev ,tho where here for rcs!but your fun to watch and enjoyable to listen to! No such thing as boring when it comes to rcs there's always something to talk about or something to do! I aslo agree with the savage being one of the best I have the first gen and yet to replace anything but making it brushless!! Lol
Mentioning the T-Maxx. I did a full Aluminum integy everything shelf queen build and ended up getting bored and doing a fair bit of bashing. Favorite Nitro I've had by far. I had several buggies and my friend had the savage. Opposite experience from what you said although mine was all aluminum and it would bend and I would just bend it back. Chassis had braces underneath and never once bent though. I would love to see you get one because you would love it.
Hey buddy! First and foremost patients is a value and you definitely have that so good on ya. Keep up the great job on the vids as I always look forward to seeing what’s next wether or not the maybe one day, two day or two weeks.
My only and first Rc trick was that same trucks hpi savage 4.6 nitro. I worked on it more than I drove it. It did take way more abuse than my fiends t max trucks. After two years I sold it after not getting to crank anymore. Wanting to go xmaxx now just waiting to afford one.
Do a fpv rc car project. Make the fpv rc car a crawler. So you can show your friends how it works and crawl with them that’s something I haven’t seen on your channel. I’ve been here since the beginning so. Much love ❤️
There's a mod you can do the savage tank to fix the tuning issue. If I remember right it was just adding a nipple on the inside of the lig with a piece of fuel tubing on it
eventually you will get there Kevin, just a bad time for property, it's the same everywhere, but keep searching and most off all keep posting your video's, take it day by day and just don't worry, enjoy the hobby
Awesome Kevin! Buying land and property is the next big step that will further propel your career and a wise investment for your earnings. Definitely wait for it, prices are going down immensely. The energy crisis hits extra hard after COVID. Many businesses are going down because of this. Europe is going into a huge recession, to my opinion it’s 2008 all over again. You should be happy the deal didn’t continue, upcoming years is the moment to buy. Pluck the fruits of a bad economy, wait for the right opportunity and try to buy low!
Nah love it, way rather the quality over quantity approach, plus you've got a life to live. Definitely don't wanna burn out, this hobby is supposed to be fun not a chore!
Hi Kevin love the videos! Maybe its been done already? but how come you haven’t put rear wheels steering on the xmaxx? Is that a challenge I don’t know. Be good to see maybe Traxxas will come out with an upgrade now they have made the arms wider. Anyway great work on all fronts 👍🏻
Its a huge investment kev, but maybe you could keep the monster jam truck, and once u save up a good bit for it, build another monster truck, and put a Sonnys 959 big block in it (with the blower ofc) which would mean LOTS more powa
100% wait to buy man! dont rush you will get there in time! cant wait to see you with your own land, i think you know whats going on with the world at the moment. you just seem like you do.... keep doing what youre doing bro love you work!
and you know when things are really really bad when even in uk are complaining about sky rocket prizes and high interest rates. Hope everything improves all around the world.
you've done quite a lot since I started watching your channel. what you could do now is go back to some Bangood specials, take the lambo to santa pod or get it on car get it and one of your fastest rc on Carwow. Mat Watson also loves RC, it would be great publicity and you get access to a runway. it's a win win. You could also sell some of the rc you don't use on ebay and buy some new rc you would usually buy. There's so much more you can do. I quite enjoy your videos and have been wondering why you haven't been uploading as you once did. Some how I just figured you're busy. because what we tend to forget, is that RU-vid also have a life to manage. Keep building Kev, Rc, Gameover and yourself.
Yeah Kev did you try and 11/16 socket on that 17 mil wheel nut to see if it fit better 🤷🏽♂️ Australia nice this time of year .. well all year really 😕 plenty of room kev ...
Back in time when the savage came out, I drove a losi LST and alot off my friends had the savage. I never liked it, the diffs keep falling and I was the one doing the wringing.. With the losi LST 6 screws and you got out the diff!!!! FAST!!!! Savage not so fast and broke alot. Because you said it was the best... I don't think so!!!
Get that Lambo punted, and get something quick!! 👍😁 Andy Frost's car is up for sale (still, I think...), and held the record, for the fastest street car in world at 5.87 @ 263.74mph. Although the time has been beaten, the mph is still the fastest.
You could upload a video a day of you brushing your hair and I'd still watch it. On the housing market, have prices ever go down in the UK? In Romania they only went up in the last 20y...
love the videos none the less my son watches your vids daily hes 2 with autism he also watches wrenching videos then goes over to the xmaxx to copy what you do
The original, and the later 25 were the best Savages, I had several. Even had a Savage 25 setup for the track and raced it. They are long gone, and I'm not impressed at all with the new ones...Edit: The TMaxx, even an upgraded one, never did hold a candle to the Savage. I had several of those too, Lol.
