I traveled to see DC United play for the first time at Allianz Field, the newest soccer-specific stadium in MLS located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Follow me! Twitter: bit.ly/2BToUfm Instagram: bit.ly/2GO7Ruh Facebook: bit.ly/2EZMeH7
This video is exactly what RU-vid is supposed to be about, someone sharing their passion and just living life the way they want. Such an enjoyable journey from start to finish. i hope you keep making content because you have a knack for it!!
Thanks for visiting! Soccer is just starting to catch popularity here. Hope you visit again, this place is beautiful during the summer, but shh on that. we like to be known as MinneSNOWta
I've been to the stadium twice (mnufc-Berlin friendly, and USA-Guyana gold cup) and still can't get over how amazing our new stadium is. I'll be going to my first MLS game in the new stadium in a couple days against Columbus, can't wait! I admit that I still search for videos of different people's reactions to the stadium (which is how I found yours), because, you know, ego stroking ;). But for real, it's so great to see the transformation of MLS with better players and more soccer-specific stadiums. Glad you enjoyed your time in the twin cities, and great video! Cheers!!
Very well done. Good research on your facts too. My son and I were at that game. I wanted him to see Wayne Rooney. And yes, our grass needed work at the time. It is quite amazing how far soccer has come since the days of the Thunder playing in Blaine to less than 1000 people to selling out Allianz Field. I has been an amazing journey. Nice that you took the time to experience the area and visit several bookstores.
A belated welcome to Minnesota! Will be attending my first game at Allianz Field in August against the Colorado Rapids and I can't wait, especially after watching your vlog just now. Great video, very well done.
I really enjoyed the extensive research you did on the history of MNUFC! After COVID (or when fans are allowed in stadiums) I want to do what you did and just travel to a random stadium! I've been to Providence Park in Portland (as well as Allianz, but I'm a season ticket holder there), but need to add to that list.
I've been a DCU fan since the beginning...so far I have been to stadiums in Boston, Chicago (world cup, Bolivia vs Germany), Philly, New York (jersey), RFK and Audi Field...so maybe I'll catch up to you one day...Great video btw!!!
Alex Sanchez thank you!! Are you from MSP? I’m doing a passport giveaway on my IG, you’re welcome to enter for a chance to have it mailed to you. @btwncleansheets I want someone to enjoy it since I can’t!!
Nothing is wrong with the grass at Allianz Field. It was put down 6 months ago and had snow on 5 months of the time. The grass simply has not rooted yet. The flaws of it coming up while they play with pass after this year.
Brandon Larson I think you just pointed out the issue. But I understand it’s temporary! Just made for some laughable moments, watching Lucho slip and slide.
