The absolute BEST memories of my youth were at The Becky Sheetz Building. We didn't care about anything but our scene... You could be anyone, an old tough-head, a punk rocker, emo kid, whoever... It was so golden. We didn't stay Pony Boy though, we lost it all.
I saw many shows like this. Just some unknown band in a church basement somewhere. The only difference is all those bands never really amounted to much, ya know they all grew up. Got real jobs got married yada yada yada. It would have been so cool to see brand fricken new like this. So raw and real. Ugh I miss those days
fun fact- that tele that jesse's using is the one that John Nolan loaned him and was never returned to john cuz well Long Island Soap Opera happened he still owns it lmao
I'm speechless. To think they started out right where every other band did. I'm glad I got to meet most of the band before they realllyyyy blew up. They are all such cool guys.
Awesome. i remember this tour. The guitar player from The Reunion Show ended up joining Brand New and played with the until the end. Long Island bands always tour together.
If I had a time machine...I would be in this audience, standing in awe of how amazing Brand New really is♡ I am so glad I found this video. One of my favorite songs, and bands of all time.
Haha. This was filmed in Altoona Pa at the “Becky Sheetz Memorial Center”. From like 2000-2010, Altoona bad a really decent scene for both pop punk/emo/alternative rock and Hardcore/metal/punk. It’s damn near in the middle of the state of Pa. there was a lot of great bands that played in Altoona in that decade. Tons of people who supported the scene too. But sorry, that video wasn’t filmed there.
In 2001, I was working at Jimmy Johns in Gainesville when their van pulled up....I had never heard of them.....good for them for getting popularish years later...hard working band
Can we go back to 2001, when all that mattered in life was xScenex drama, which Brand New were the kings of, and trying to figure out which songs were about whom? 😂 So quaint.
You can't just play this cohesively and sound exactly like the album. Did they spend every last dollar on recording? Your Favorite Weapon is so flawless, yet I can't imagine these guys playing all the songs on it when I see the live. It's like another animal.
+BadSodaProductions They're called "ringer T-shirts". It's sucks trying to find some good ones, but once and awhile you'll come across them for cheap. But I have quite a few, they're my fav.
@@RockAddict311 the fuck. Definitely didn't expect to see Mt pleasant here. Haha. I mean michigan does have the best emo bands but Still. Unexpected lol
