I can’t wait until they start designing the outside front of mobile homes like houses. If I pay over $250k for a mobile home, i don’t want the outside to look like a trailer home.
I don't know much about houses or construction/carpentry but can you buy one of these and then have a better front end built on? or would it mess with the structure of the house?
I absolutely really love this double wide. I've never seen anything like it. I like that part of exterior in front of the great room. When you walked into the living area, I really love where the tv was at, with the brick siding & the side shelves. The kitchen, I absolutely love the back splash all the way around & the open shelves there in the dining area. The bedrooms are really nice. My most favorite of all is the great room. When my mother in law passed away, I inherited a whole bunch of dolls. That room would be great to have a hutch & decorate it with those dolls. Also, have a corner glass hutch with knick knacks. I really love the master bedroom with the ensuite bathroom. There is nothing I would change about this place.
Chance! I’ve been watching for awhile but always on my tv, so I can’t comment! Had to on this one! I love your channel and this house is epic! I love how you just walk through with US! Chatting like we’re a real conversation with you! It’s like we’re touring the homes right along side you! Best wishes and blessings to you and your growing family! God bless! 😇🙏🏻Tina
We are watching your video for the house and layout, the size of the room, and the materials. You did a good job of showing the dimensions. However, the carpet, the dining room light, and items that do not default come with the house are irrelevant to the modular home. The video can be efficiently reduced to 10 minutes rather than swing your camera back and forth in the same room. You can do a lot better if you improve your camera handling, editing, and focus on your main topic.
I used to live in a manufactured home. Tip 1: get a basement and 2 car garage if you can afford it. Tip 2: get all of the walls made of drywall vs gypsum board. Tip 3: winterize your pipes that are underneath your house if not getting a basement. Tip 5: expect mice under your house if no basement and in your garage.
This book is awesome! ru-vid.comUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- It has loads of pictures and videos, and it shows you everything you need to know about tiny homes. It covers all the basics of a house, from plumbing to electricity. It also has some cool floor plans of some of the most popular tiny homes out there. I had a blast reading this book and learning so much. The only thing that bugged me was that the description said it had floor plans, but it didn't say how few there were.
I really like this floor plan - especially how the extra bedrooms are situated in a pattern surrounding the family room. Very creative. This is one of the nicest floor plans I’ve ever seen.
Wow, Chance, I love this home it's one of my favorite homes. The only thing I would have done differently have a seat put in the master shower. You have done a great job showing these beautiful homes. God bless you and your precious family. Praying for traveling mercy. Much love to you, Katie, and Cullen.🙏✝️❤️🤗
Truly the perfect home! Pantry, den, amazing kitchen and dining area, sliding glass doors, big utility room and gorgeous master bedroom/closet/bathroom! Love it! Oh and a pot filler too!
Overall the home is beautiful. I'd cut the pantry down a little and add a coat closet for the living room. It'd also be nice to have a 1/2 bath near the kitchen. In addition, I would configure the door to the main bedroom a little differently so there would be more privacy than opening up straight into the living room. Love the den and the back area of the house. I wouldn't change anything. Thanks for the tour Chance.
I love the layout of this home Whoever designed this home did a very thoughtful and wonderful job!! It's peaceful with the gray and white colors and I love the black around the windows and the exterior of the home is gorgeous!! Bedrooms are huge, family room is a dream, and oh my goodness, the master bed and bath are just perfect!! I LOVE THIS HOME!! Congratulations to the builder and Chance, thank you very much for all you do. :)))
The fact that the den ceiling is raised in the middle by a mere 4" higher than the rest of the flat ceilings makes quite an enhanced aesthetic. this is more more appealing than how it would look and feel if they built down 4" soffits for a similar look. this means it has an irregular(not flat) trusses over that portion of the home. very well done. id likely choose this company over others for that feature alone. from an architectural design standpoint, it's far superior than most.
Chance that is an ALL STAR home. Home run for this baby right here. I LOVE THEM CABINETS around the kitchen, especially the one next to dining table. Love how soft all the colors are....yet welcoming entering the house. The family room is award winner. Such a simple and easy to maintain home. LOVE IT!
This is a beautiful house. Love the updated colors and the size of the den area. Wow, that's a nice surprise. I hope in the future you can mention the size of the bed in the primary if it is staged. It helps to get a feel for the room's size
Love love this house, I like the outside, there’s nothing I don’t like about this home, great family home. Who ever designed it did a great job, Thank you Chance for another awesome home tour.
Beautiful home, as I look at it, if ordering it for myself, I would ask for at least a 4' extension to the hard floor at the front door, so dirt is not constantly being tracked onto the carpet, or even wood floors, most homes seem to be built this way there is not room for even two , to step in and close the door without walking on the carpet with muddy or snowy shoes, add walker or chair to that tiny space, wow. I would also chose a much smaller movable island/work space. The pantry is a big plus, so maybe don't need so much storage in the kitchen proper. but that is what would work best for our family. If this is a company that makes smaller changes to suit the client. it's great.
Hey chance, you're right about calling it utility room. Because calling it a laundry room limits it's use to cleaning clothing. But the utility room serves many purposes. Mud room ,wash room ,drop zone. I'm sure there's many more.Great job. Nice home, thank you and God bless.
I kinda like the colors of the home. I do like all the windows on the front but I would want more windows on the back. The more windows in a home the better. I do not like the carpet nor the color of the floor. And I never understood why a home like that needs a den and a living room. I would rather have one big living area. And no way would I pay 250k for it when it looks like a cheap trailer on the outside. For that price I would expect more in a modular home. Sorry to be so negative I'm just giving my honest opinion. But a huge positive you have done an amazing job at showing everything in the home like you do with all your videos. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your hard work on doing these videos. God bless you.
Swap the master closet, and the master bathroom so we don't have mold growing in the closet...It needs to be reconfigured, but it all fits...and more room if you get rid of the dead tub..not needed. It's absolutely perfect except for that.
This really is a nice house. Not sure where to put it, but need a half bath... maybe in utility room area. Why is no one using the tankless water heaters?
I like this home! It’s really nice! Love the kitchen and the den. I would take out that jacuzzi tub (I’m not able to use it) and put in a washer and dryer for the master. (No carrying dirty laundry through the kitchen!😎) Not a lot to complain about. Put it on a basement and we’re ready to roll! Good video Chance! 👍🏻👍🏻
I agree….no tub for me either! And everyone thinks I’m crazy for wanting washer/dryer in its place…..now at least I know there’s someone else who thinks like me, not wanting to take dirty laundry all through the house. Maybe it’s an age thing! 😆.
Also, the way the cabinet above the refrigerator is pulled out to 24" so that the face of the cabinet is closer to the front of the fridge so you can easily access the cabinet and it also prevents clutter or other stuff from building up on top of the fridge. The more I see I notice many other things done better than most system built homes. more thought, care, and craftsmanship have gone into this home that you'll find in most 'double-wide' sectional houses. they even have included a tub with jets rather than the cheapest option. If I was in the market for one of these types of homes, I would certainly consider this company/manufacturer/builder first.
It looks like a mobile home and that's not a complement. I wonder how they compare to the $50,000 modular priced homes from Elon Musk? EDIT: I liked the inside as well. How many square feet is this unit? What's the price? What's financing like on it? How much do you have to put down? Do you know of any land around Las Vegas or Pharump Nevada for sale with utilities to move a unit like this on? I'm wondering how these homes are going to stand up to the market if single family home prices crash?
Very nice. Good utility room. Good to see a pot filler. Like the tile in the main bath. Nice den. Don’t want an island to always be having to walk around and no open shelves to always dust. What I don’t like is there is No storage: no linen closets, no coat closet, no utility closet, no cleaning closet and no junk closet. I don’t get it. We have stuff.
Hello Chance! Well the floorplan looks very nice for this house. We'll see. I'm typing as I watch; one or two rooms and then I put my two cents worth in! #1) The Living Room is small, which makes it nice and cozy to me! I'd put in a Gas Fireplace or wood-burning insert; the wood-burning insert preferably. #2) In the Dining Room we'd build an enclosed deck/porch out that sliding door! But there's nowhere to put Grandma's China Cabinet unless I remove the built-in countertop and shelves in there! A shame really as those looked very nice. But I'd rather have my Grandma's China Cabinet! #3) That Pantry looks great! I love the Pocket Door for it. I would have the shelves going all the way to the ceiling, but that's the only thing I'd change on it; although I don't like the attic access being in there. Now that I may change if possible. #4) In the Kitchen I like it that the sink and stove is Not in the island! But the island is too big for me. We don't need that extra seating with the table being right there. I also don't really care for the raised portion of an island. I want them on one level. So, smaller island, all on one level, and wheels on it. I like it that the windows over the sink can be opened. But we don't need a dishwasher so remove it and put in another cabinet or drawers. I love the location of the microwave! Perfect height! I couldn't tell if that window by the stove opened or not, but if not, I'd put one in that did. I'd want a Gas Cook Stove. I really like that Pot Filler over the cook stove! Wish I had one now! I do not like open shelving in the kitchen, or anywhere in the house actually. So that would be changed. I like the backslash. Good thing there's more I like than that I don't like! #5) The Utility Room is a nice size. The water heater and furnace and electrical panel is in there where they belong! Now if we could just get the attic access in there too (or at least in the hallway!) everything would be in it's proper place! We'd build a Garage out that back door, of course, with a Storage unit in it and a place for a Chest or Upright Freezer, and maybe a pet shower. #6) Afraid you aren't going to be correct in what you said about coming into the family room from the garage, Chance. Not with us anyway! You see, we don't need both a living room and family room as we have no kids. So that family room is going to be closed off even with the walls for the bedroom next to the kitchen and the wall between the other two bedrooms. This will make a nice hallway between the rooms on each side. We will combine the family room with the bedroom closest to the kitchen. These rooms will be divided into my rooms; 3/4's will be my Library Office Room with a small sitting area with a small gas fireplace (as there is already a fireplace in the family room, it makes sense I'd use it as my Library). The other 1/4 of the rooms would be enclosed and soundproofed and used as my Music Studio Rooms. The other two bedrooms would be combine and turned into the GYM, and if enough room, husband's Hobby room. The door into the family room and bedroom will be in the former family room. The door to the combined bedrooms will stay where it is located in the bedroom next to the bathroom. And Chance, we don't watch football, or much sports actually. We don't have a TV as such - we use our TV for watching DVD's only, as we can't get any stations out here where we live clearly without paying an enormous amount of money for cable or some other internet deal. Husband watches wrestling and weight lifting and Gymnastics and lots of times, movies, on RU-vid; I too like Gymnastics and talent shows and Dancing and some movies, which I also watch on RU-vid. So we don't really miss the TV! #7) That is a nice, roomy, guest bathroom! It will be left as is! #8) The Master Suite is a very nice size bedroom if you ask me. Not too big and not too small. I couldn't tell if the windows in the bedroom opened. If not, I would want them to do so. I see a barn door! That is a no-no inside the house for me. So right off the bat, that would have to be changed. But the rest of the bathroom isn't bad. Some changes of course, always. I love the backslash in the bathroom! But I don't like that cabinet sitting on the vanity countertop like that, (sorry, I know you said you did like it Chance!). But to me it takes up a lot of my counter space - I like my counter space, a lot (probably because I don't have much of it now and haven't had for years, and I miss it!). I also think that counter should be longer, like all the way to touching the tub. Now that tub I would change to a Handicapped Tub, which is too bad as we'd love those jets! [Wonder if you can get them in a handicapped tub? I bet you can!]. Anyway, the Tile Shower we'd keep and add a door and a bench seat to it. The Closet is a very nice size, I like it! And surprise, surprise! I actually think there is room in the commode area for me to sit without touching the sides or feeling claustrophobic - as long as I don't shut the door that is! May just remove that door. On the other hand husband might want to shut it sometimes. Wonder if a Pocket door would be available for the commode area and the regular Closet? If so I think I'd go with that. #9) Porches and decks all around the house to the garage. Some enclosed and some just covered. Carpet in the Living Room, Bedroom, and sitting area in the Library only. Well the pricing isn't too bad on this one! Not great mind you, but not too bad. Good video Chance! God bless you and your family! Praying everyone is doing okay. Wow! I didn't mean to write a book!
Best home EVER. I love it. Everything about this home is perfect. The space is used wisely. The kitchen is functional with plenty of counter space and cupboards. The master bath cubbies are sensational. The lighting throughout gives a very good mood. Just too much to list here. Great job on this one!
I'm not so big on the super modern design but it works for this one. One huge thing they totally nailed on this one is the refrigerator! Finally!! A big fridge and the space for it. I have seen so many super nice homes with a tiny fridge and only that tiny fridge space people do a lot more stocking up and big shopping these days. And more cooking at home than eating out. So a big refrigerator at least a place for a bigger one is almost a necessity these days and in the mud room or pantry room why not room for a deep freeze? Even for a smaller deep freeze would be nice. Recommend to the builders.
GET RID OF ALL CARPETS AND DO QUALITY LAMINATE OR SOMETHING ALONG THAT LINE…….hate carpet!!! There are so many better options now for flooring. Just saying.
I really love that family room! You get a lot of square footage for that price. Lots of amenities too. I wish they could deliver their homes to even more areas. Thank you for showing us this beautiful home 😊
Love the layout of this home! That den looks ready for baseball season to me! Rooms are a great size as well! Nice pantry too! Thumbs up all the way around!
Paying That Much and Have WIRE Shelving ? Would NOT USE a Livingroom or Den. It Would Be GREAT to Have "2" Separate Room's. One to Be Used as a Man Cave and then One for Her for Whatever. This Home is Really Too Large for just "2" People.
Watching this one now and you’re in the bathroom saying “I’m 6’1” and I said “Dude, you’re not that tall”, then you said, “You’re like sayin ‘Dude, You’re not that tall’”. And yes I was saying that exact thing, it was like we were talking in person. I laughed so hard!! 😂😂
When was this video made?? Looks like the house is from the 1970's. Gaudy & awful. 🙁 Love the way they light your knees when eating at the breakfast bar..I've always wanted my knees lit while eating.😂 Love the big pantry also, could keep the farm animals in there over winter👍🙂 Who's the lucky bugger that gets the bedroom in the middle of the living/family/kitchen area? Must be a sound sleeper. Brick for an interior would be useful...so warm & pretty.. & useful🤔 A pot filler?? Mmmm mmmm.. that laundry is bigger than my whole apartment! Toilet straight off the living area... I can see no problem with prayer meetings on curry night🙄 Love the tiny basins. Easily bathe my mouse in there. Loved the footspar in the bathroom too.. such a good idea👍 Ahhh.. I see you're a 'bling' man.. makes sense now... I like gaudy👍 .. (Joke..you're bling looks cool🙂) Yeah, that huge amount of square footage in the master bathroom is great... useful for... 🤔?... useful for 🤔?.. skinning wild pigs😃 Hey look, there's a straight line view from the bedroom to the shower...sexy. Wow! A walk-in closet in the bathroom!! I like to keep my clothes damp too...cool on hot days👍 Brilliant...it's modular! The widest houses are best for modular I always say... a few trees have to be removed but hey 😉
250,000 $$$$$ have you all lost your minds!! How do you people sleep at night! That is $150,00 more than I bought my home for in 2019 with a complete set up and it is a 34×64 with a block foundation and my house feels like a house and not a mobile home at all. I have no words for your crooked prices..just another company taking advantage of the consumer 😢
You’d have to of course have the land. With that said, if you have land, for $250k you could build a home. If you’re capable of being your own GC you could really stretch that $250k a long way. Great video. Beautiful home. God bless y’all.
Dont like the cheap wire racks for the pantry and closets... cheap cheap cheap... and what size bed are they using for the models... are those quee size..?? I prefer king size beds so I wonder about the fitting....And I'm not getting in your shorts.......
Too much FAKE stuff in this home, they went to for, it looks cheap. Faux brick, Faux Ceiling Beams, Faux Tile, On and on. A tile Shower with a Plastic Floor. Buyers Beware. These homes look way nice, but are really cheaply made. Think twice before taking a high mortgage rate for this way over priced home. When they come out with a Brick Modular Home I may be interested.
I can't believe ANYONE is even looking at these. There are plenty of existing stick and brick houses already on land that sell for less. My wife and I were looking to buy a piece of property in Florida and were considering buying a prefab or manufactured house to put on it. But for the prices these Jokers are asking for them, you can just about build a traditional house on the property. We bought a mobile home about twenty years ago and didn't pay much more than $50,000 for it. Things are truly getting ridiculous.
Yeap I saw it Chance, I saw that pantry 😅...... O M G, I absolutely adore this Home. If the Guest Suit from the other Home be added, with a downstairs playroom, It would be Perfect❤, and the bedrooms upstairs 🤭
I like the idea of homes built in a factory where the environment is controlled, no rain or cold weather. The problem is they fail to make the exterior like a stick built home. They are too! Expensive. This COVID B.S. has given everyone a license to steal. GREED knows no friend.
