A collection of edits featuring TV Series Characters in the RWS. Now with narration. Music can be downloaded here: sodorislandmodels.bandcamp.com/ Feel free to tip for the content I make here: ko-fi.com/sodorislandmodels
At first I thought I wouldn't enjoy they voiceovers but I actually enjoyed them. You being so much life to the characters and the edits are amazing as always.
All of these edits are fantastic, I loved every one of them! As for the voiceovers, I thought I would hate them, but now I’ve come to except them and like them, plus the funny voices your provide for the characters and the calm narrator voice are fantastic for me!
Fantastic Edits, but also Fantastic voice overs, I love specifically your Edward, ClaypitTwin, and Sir Topham Hatt Voice, like man, that Edward voice is perfect
These are incredible. The one with Emily is my favourite and I liked the ones that were done with Merlin, Diesel 10, Splatter, Dodge, but the one with Rebecca took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting her to be painted blue.
Really really fantastic work here mate!! Not only with the edits but the voiceover added so much story and character behind them. I honestly was picturing so many different story ideas from these edits and your voiceovers alone. You my friend have a lot of talent and I look forward to see what else you come up with!
Awesome I'd like to another compilation like this. The next one should have - Molly - Arry and Bert - Dennis - Luke - Mighty Mac - Rocky - Whiff - Arthur - Flora - Paxton - Connor and Caitlin - Charlie
The image of Rosie fits with my headcanon that Tidmouth harbour had a USA tank before it was sold to the NWR after being replaced by a Class 07 diesel in the 1970s (Salty's class). If the Class 07 arrived on Sodor in 1973 it would be D2988 as this was the first withdrawn. I imagine Jinty (47287) visited Sodor again on at least 2 occasions in the early 1960s and was bought by the NWR in 1964 firstly to help with the building of Arlesburgh harbour & then taking Duck's position as Tidmouth station pilot in 1967 after Duck was allocated to the Arlesburgh branch.
Diesel 10 could be D818 "Glory", a Warship Class diesel that was in real life scrapped after Swindon Works closed in 1985. In my headcanon, Tidmouth harbour had a USA tank from World War 2 until it was bought by the NWR in the 1970s after being replaced at the harbour by a Class 07 diesel.
I like the idea that 40125 (Old Stuck Up) could be the diesel in Bowled Out as its number was fictional. In real life 40125 was D325 and may have been withdrawn as a result of the Tidmouth crash!
If you do Hank in RWS style I think he should be a USATC S160 as these were an American built (and American looking) locomotive that fits the UK loading gauge!
How'd ya do the ones at 0:13, 0:27, 1:55 & 2:47? They look great! The one of Rebbeca is a dam-near perfect recreation of john T. Kenney's style & i really like the one with Diesel 10! (also i like the lack of filter, the diffrent style of the first 2 simpily seems like yet another diffrent RWS illustrator.)
I think Nia shouldn't retain her Number 18 when she is bought by the NWR, since her number only means she is the KUR number 18, not the NWR number 18. I mean, there is no engine on the NWR who is number 18, but the ones running the show thought it is convenient to let her keep her number when her ownership change.
I think "Double Teething Troubles" takes place in 1965 after Edward's Exploit, as Edward doesn't appear and the Clayton diesel (Derek) may have been on loan from the mainland. It was intended the Clayton diesel would be used as a banker on Gordon's Hill but proved underpowered and unreliable.
@@sodorislandmodels6332 Jinty never appears in the books 20-24 as they either take place on the other Sodor railways or don't feature the Big Station. Jinty would have been up at Arlesburgh in Main Line Engines (book 21, published in 1965) as it's mentioned in "Buzz Buzz" that Duck brought James's express coaches, while Jinty may have moved to Tidmouth by Small Railway Engines as it's Duck who's working there then. I think this fits.
I’ve thought Billy Charlie Lady and Sonny could all work as the W&S fleet members; the 1st and 2nd members are confirmed to be Manning Wardle 0-6-0STs just like Billy and Charlie, the #3 as a tender engine with the side tanks still on looks like Lady, and as of right now we don’t know what the #4 would’ve been like but as Sonny’s a 19th Century built 0-6-0 tank engine he could easily be interpreted as the 4th member for now. We can also imagine the W&S fleet ran the Wellsworth Arlesburgh Kirk Ronan and Norramby branchlines during the early days of the NWR (Neil could’ve also still been helping on the Kirk Ronan line if still around when the NWR was formed). And as no Royal members own any locomotives of their own in real life, would Spencer and Duchess of Loughborough be owned by other preservation places in the UK or be on Sodor?
@@sodorislandmodels6332 How do you think American and other foreign engines could work in the RWS? Do you think they could work with British designs or remain the same?
Aside from common designs used in the UK (such as the sr USA class, the wd 2-8-0 and 2-10-0, narrow gauge Balwins) I don't think American designs would work very well. Same with other countries tbh, although many narrow gauge engines come from overseas so some of those would work well, good news for Millie!!
@@sodorislandmodels6332 In the cases of those like Hank Hiro Connor Caitlin Nia and the TGR and BWBA Internationals, could you see some of them being in a railway museum on Sodor or simply just preserved engines in America Japan and their other respective home countries who in the RWS canon would be visited by different people of the people of the show while going around the world who’d decide to put them in just because they like them? Porter could work with getting a buffer beam like Bill and Ben’s where he could access taller trucks easier, Nia and even Hiro could be easily regauged to 4ft 8 1/2 gauge to work on Sodor, Victor could be a standard gauge shunter at Crovan’s Gate Works, and I think the likes of Timothy Marion Gator and Philip could easily be on Sodor with no issue.
I like the ideas, but unless they were all absolute bargains or offered something unique, I don't think there is much point taking them to Sodor - few heritage railways in the UK have even one non UK engine. But I like the idea of them being preserved in their own countries and going on tours :)
I have a backlog of edits to put out, so will do one edit video a week until I have used up my supply, then put them out anew video when I have enough new edits
🤡 actual clown question, really do you think people can't do stuff without ai and it's interesting you still bring up photoshop prior, ah yes let me ask if it's also possibly ai cause no way there's still humans who prefer doing things naturally 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
