That’s one of the reasons I pushed this video out so quick. I still have a lot more older videos in backlog, but I knew this was too interesting to sit on.
Very nice, the XD60s here in Pittsburgh have the same engine/transmission configuration. Though they don't have the announcements of when the doors open and close, nor the automated announcement that the bus is early. Never heard that before lol
You mean by the Cummins ISL(9)/L9-280 with a Voith D864 that is common on the BRTs and the XD60's. 300-359 (Low Floor/Advantage) had Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR DDEC IV with Allison B400R, while 700-763 and 900-972 (1993) all originally had 6V92TA DDEC II/III with HTB-748, later swapped for Cummins ISM-280 and Allison B400R in 2000-02 except 400-437, and the 1984 Phantoms (DDEC I). 600-665 and 667-672 (1998) had M11E-280 with B400R, while the NABI 436.10's (100-154, 2002) had Cummins ISL-330 with Allison B500R.
This articulated clown bus makes funny and silly clown noises from the Voith transmission when decelerating. In other words, this articulated clown bus starts clowning around when decelerating. 🤡🤡🤡
