When it comes to song writing, Brand Of Sacrifice reminds me of the band Nevermore. For a Technical DeathCore band BOF's song writing is very creative to a level of an art form. It has strong elements of avant-garde and experimentalism. Mixing/Production/Mastering of album is stellar. Love this album!!!!

Having been a huge fan of The Afterimage for a few years, I can't believe I haven't heard about this band until RU-vid suggested it to me today. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video! The breakdown at 1:52 might be the best I've ever heard, by the way.

This is such a masterpiece, and a big splash to make in the watered down deathcore genre we have today. Cannot wait for more

This whole album just fits with that manga/anime so well, the intensity and brutality and how Guts went through all of it. Makes me want to watch the end episode of the anime series and play this at the time where the characters start getting slaughtered.

What a lot of people don't know is all of these guys are from a recently disbanded band called The Afterimage, whom sounded nothing like this lol.

I still can't decide whether I sort of like or actually like this band. There's some tracks that hit that groove pocket so tightly; then others are just impetuous and chaotic to a point where there's no discernible time signature.....but then again if that's what the band is going for you can't really complain about it.....so I'm still undecided on most of it. The break down on Eclipse still bangs like a howitzer cannon way more than most modern death metal bands. And yes, Brand of Sacrifice is categorized as death metal. And also yes, their album cover is basically the final boss at the end of the first Borderlands videogame.

It's ok, at best. Some nice riffs, but I found it to be very predictable compared to the Afterimage. Even Millennium was quite obvious with the long break and note strings, I was able to go along with it as if I had heard it before, but hey, if this is where you wanted to go.
