Dude im a metalhead for MANY genres,not all but many, and its been months if not years since ive heard a band instantly grab my attention like this. Even tho there are a rare few spots that are a little too extreme for my ear it immediately goes back to awesome. The atmospheric orchestration they add in spots is what sets them apart.

You glorious fuckers better make more music. You've managed to capture and transform an awe inspiring, hair raising visceral rage into something immaculate. Far from an easy task, yet you've executed such near perfectly. I guess you could say you're bringing the ever stagnating genre of deathcore into a new age.

Just had the pleasure of seeing these guys back in February at the Webster Theater. They killed it with their set and got to meet their bassist Dylan Gould and their vocalist Kyle Anderson.

Saw this on a Facebook page, and now I'm listening to the whole thing. Fucking awesome.

Hey guys, while this isn't quite my cup of tea when it comes to metal (not a big fan of super fast and techy stuff), I fucking had to come and give props for a Berserk inspired band. I've got a shirt with the Brand on it and I've had a number of people ask me if it's from a band, and now I can say it kinda is! Keep doing what you're doing!

Do you guys have footage of when you were recording? For some reason I think it would be interesting.

I would have never guessed this was The Afterimage

So My thoughts on the album , I found the first song thru shinigama, I love it all , the chant and intro are perfect. As I was going thru the album I found like the next two songs had little to none when it came to synths or extra production. And then a like horror theme came out and it sounded more like a symphonic horror deathcore band than what I imagined it out to be. Idk that might be exactly what the band is. But then you added a space Aegaeon element epic spot and then the last song I believe had something great short after. It’s my first run through. The vocals definitely have their great moments. Like really good. But I want more synth work! It felt very spaced out. Granted i love this album it’s a work of art and I’ll buy it to keep. Just love it

I don't get it at all why people like the breakdown in eclipse, it sounds very basic and simple and the instruments are completely different, but the rest of the album is complete fire and jams

This is cool for deathcore but i believe Berserk goes better with Death and Black metal, specifically the more melodic kind. Also Power metal fucking sucks.
