About Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits (ACL) offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. Now in its 48th Season, the program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. Austin City Limits is the longest-running music series in television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Since its inception, the groundbreaking music series has become an institution that’s helped secure Austin’s reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.
Austin City Limits is produced by Austin PBS, KLRU-TV and funding is provided in part by Dell Technologies, Workrise, the Austin Convention Center Department and Cirrus Logic. Additional funding is provided by the Friends of Austin City Limits. Learn more about Austin City Limits, programming and history at acltv.com.

She had a twinkle in her eye when she said that about performing on stage with Elton John. I'm sure she already knew she was going to be doing that in November! I'm so excited for her!

Albums meant so much more when the only way to play them was a record or a tape. It was tougher to skip songs. I to this day when I hear the ending of a song from my youth, I still remember what song came after it on the actual record.

I'll be honest - I had never heard of her until I watched Joni Mitchell's return to the stage for the Newport Folk Festival in July - apparently Brandi arranged and created the entire happening - I love her for that

I love how you described the profound experience of listening to an album. I still have most of my albums from the 70’s. I will not let them go until I die. They are the backdrop of my life. I also love how you feel about Joni and Elton! Me too. I heard you sing Madman Across the Water on Howard Stern, and I was so psyched. My favorite song and album by Elton. I also saw you recently singing with Joni. You are a wonderful singer/songwriter-and you are a special spirit. 💯♥️🌠🫶🏻

What Terry should have said towards her Elton answer was "Hey, I know a stage for that."
