@@Heisxn Chase is 6'0 201lbs and runs a 4.38, closer to a 4.4 than 4.3. Now, Aiyuk is 6'0 201 pounds and runs a 4.5. They're the same exact size with Chase being slightly faster.
Everyone talks so much about Deebo, But the ceiling of Aiyuk is higher to me. Deebo is more versatile due to his stature but if we're talking pure WR skills Aiyuk is the best on the team. He's fast, shifty, great route runner, catch radius is off the charts and you can line him up anywhere. I think with Lance that chemistry dating back to before training camp last season will definitely help Aiyuk display his skills. Jimmy's a good QB but his inability to throw the deep ball held Aiyuk back. With Deebo, Kittle, Jennings, Juice, Mitchell and especially when Gray is on the field Aiyuk will see alot of one on ones this season. The thought of it has me excited, I can't wait to see it
I love how opponents don't know how good he is. He is the 49ers best kept secret. He had more yards this season than his rookie year and he was in the doghouse the majority of the season.
Deebo is awesome but this man is my favorite receiver in a 49ers uni right now! He catches everything close to him and contact at the catch point means nothing to him! 2022 will be a pro bowl year for #11...mark my words!
We may have Deebo and Kittle But this guy has so much potential in him to become one of the better wide receivers in the league. He’s got speed, hands, good route running. I would like to see Lance fire that ball to Aiyuk more this season. With Deebo Kittle Mitchell Juscyk and Aiyuk, Lance has a solid offense to work with.
Everyone talks about Justin Jefferson, Brandon Aiyuk ain't no joke. I can understand JJ getting more targets bc Aiyuk is on a offense with more weapons.
Brandon and Deebo is going to be destructive this year as the passing game gets more explosive with big plays as Lance is more willing to throw down field more than 8 yards. Lol
This narrative is funny because 90% of these plays (outside of the red zone) were on the deeper routes. I’m convinced y’all just hate Jimmy for no reason lol he doesn’t have the best deep ball, but don’t act like he’s “unwilling to throw more than 8 yards”. You must be talking about drew Bree’s lol

I hope BA has a fantastic year this season 'cuz, unfortunately, I think it might be his last as a 9er. With big contracts for Deebo, Bosa, etc. I think they may end up trading him after this season which I think is his last contract year. Maybe JJ, too, I'm afraid - much as I love them both. I think that's why they picked up so many great WR's - rookies and bargain vets - this off season. They're just going to be too expensive and the new WR's have a lot of talent for less $ than the contract renewals would be. I hope I'm wrong. Right now our WR squad must be the best in the league - overloaded, with like 6 or 7 starter quality players. I think that's why they overloaded it - to start developing replacements in anticipation of upcoming expensive contract renewals.
Nah, he’s got two (maybe 3) more under contract. I say maybe 3 bc I’m not sure if the 5th year option is a part of his contract. Definitely at least two tho
@@blacksuburban2410 You're right - he signed a 4 year contract in 2020, so has 2 more years - this one and 2023. I didn't read anything about a 5th year option, but maybe. But with a 4 yr contract they'd be negotiating a new contract after the 3rd year, after this season, which I don't think they will. His value is booming and I don't think the front office will pay him what he can get elsewhere. Same with Jauan Jennings, who I think just has this year under contract.
