Man, they are flowing strong together! I’m just getting numb to this kind of preaching. It’s like eating dessert and drinking sodas all the time and never eating any vegetables, meat or drinking water. I’m thinking the congregation feels the same way based on how he keeps saying “some of you didn’t look at your neighbor”, etc!
We can all have our personal preference, but as long as the word is going forth and the ministry is not dealing with doctrines of devils! It may not be for you, but someone is getting what they need. No disrespect, but I feel speaking openly on a style negatively doesn’t help the body of Christ. Now if it were false prophets, that’s a different story. I prefer a lot of things, but no need to state what I don’t like about something in the Kingdom.
Me personally, I listen to Bishop every Sunday! He has much more meat in the presentation of the sermon than he does in his celebration. It’s all cultural.
@@samuelbigmacmcpherson4155 Bro. with all due respect, this is the comment section. How are you going to come to the “comment section” and say a person shouldn’t comment! I didn’t say he was preaching “doctrines of devils”. I said, I’m getting numb to all that screaming and hollering! Obviously I’m not the only one that feels that way! Using HIS words, “Some of y’all not clapping, some of y’all not telling your neighbor, some of y’all are just looking at me”… That means people that ARE THERE are not trying to hear all that screaming and “tell your neighbor”. Besides, the body of is best served by the body living right, talking right, living the lives we shout about on Sundays, feeding the poor and hungry, taking care of the elderly and 100 other things besides “touch 3 people and tell them”… 😒😒🤨🤨
@@jalencunningham8840 I’m definitely not saying he doesn’t have a word. My comment really was simple, “I meaning ME”, I’m getting numb to all the screaming and yelling! I’m getting numb to the hooper and the organist having their “performances” down to perfection. I’m a organist and I totally love Christin Bishop’s playing. He is that dude on organ. I recently heard Bishop preach in Baker, Louisiana. Dude definitely can preach. I am just at a point where I want to hear the word clearly and plainly! I want to hear a word that does more than excite me for the moment but I literally heard no scripture past “open your Bibles to”… Y’all feel the need to defend him and I’m not even attacking him! My comment was about ME!
Not every church band is just an organ with a drum set. Some churches have enough money to utilize full bands, and if your church does have one, the entire band needs to be on the same page through the whole service. If it’s just an organ and drums, then it’ll be easier to just wing it.
@@anthonybarnes1903 Noting like getting the entire band the page by paying them all the same salary. The best praise breaks come from the spirit of the audience and the spirit of the pulpit not from robotic, cookie cutter I already heard that a million times before .
@@timothytaylor9835 i agree to an extent but every pastor has an organist that carries his sound and if he’s playing with other he has to show the others what that sound is it’s seem like they are all on the same page to me aside from not knowing a few ques
