I couldn't agree more with Brandon. He is a class act, a true driver, and not a spoiled brat that will be hated for years like Ty Gibbs will be. Ty's behavior is certainly not in the Christian manner that his grandfather preaches.

I couldn't agree more! I consider myself a pretty calm and collected person and I think id be livid if I was in Jones' shoes! I would have probably wrecked Ty during his "victory" burnout 😂
As an NFL coach, Joe Gibbs always had that respect from others as a guy that plays by the rules and is above board. But as a team owner in NASCAR he seems willing to let drivers do some real "dirt bag" kinda stuff. I wonder how Grandpa feels knowing his Grandson could've checked up and let two of his cars into the final four if he'd have just checked up and let Brandon Jones win. Instead . . . Ty put Brandon into the wall and that cost not just Brandon but Gibbs Racing.
Spot on, I always respected Joe, but look at this garbage. They always say it's the third generation that screws it all up in a company... proving true. Joe just can't be proud of that boy. What a monumental failure by his father. No honor, no respect. Not a real man.

He’s more selfish behind the wheel. All he thinks about is Ty,Ty,Ty instead of the people around him(mainly a teammate who could increase the chances of a championship)
He isn't going to wreck him. He may have lost respect for Ty, but it also isn't a good look ruining your organization's chances at a championship. He will move on to bigger and better things.
@Albert Begaye what does he have to lose. He’s leaving JGR and heading to a rival team. It’s obvious that Joe cares more about his grandson than his other driver. I’m not a Brandon Jones fan by any means but it’s his last race with JGR. Might as well do what you have to do
For Nascar's sake, Ty better not win the championship. If he walk away with that trophy, that will turn a lot of fans off. It's not often I say this, but someone NEEDS to wreck Ty this Saturday! I think most of the field will be gunning for Ty's head in Phoenix for what happened last weekend.
Now there is as good an example of a man with a lot of class. Unfortunately, he was racing with a young punk with a total lack of class. I'm sure Reverend Joe must feel good proud of what his grand-baby did in order to win the race.
I could really see Brandon leading JRM’s charge into Cup if they DO decide to go that route. He’s defintely got a good head on his shoulders. He’s a smart kid, presentable, and can drive. I’d love to see it.
I'm really liking these young drivers and I used to be a Kurt Busch fan and we all know what happened to him so I think I'm going to go to Gregson he reminds me of Tony Stewart a lot but he got prettier eyes 😁
What a classy interview, hope this guy kicks some butt in that Chevy next year, probably going to be hard to do with junior as an owner, he doesn't know much about winning races. I wish they would have asked him one more question, "If you and Ty are side by side on the last lap next week at Phoenix, how hard would you race him"? LOL

And Bibbs didn't even have to win, so he did this out of pure selfish glory. Well guess what, the final 4 consists of 3 JRM cars and baby boy Bibbs. Add to that a guy that Bibbs just wasted and that is moving over to JRM next year, and that spells doom for Bibbs. Jones doesn't care how his actions effect his current team, or his teammate. It's his last day on the job, may as well settle all debts. Baby Bibbs will NOT finish Phoenix next week, guaranteed.

If JGR wants to bring respect back to the team, they should hire Ryan Vargas to drive and promote the team next year. He just resigned from JDR today and is looking for a new ride. He has the talent, but has never had a top tier ride to show off that talent. JGR needs to lift up their image and class, and that is what Ryan Vargas is, total class, and the hardest working driver on and off the track. JGR can learn a lot from him.
Well spoken. I stopped being a Ty Gibbs fan after the first Martinsville issue he had, and just lately he hasn't changed. And his Xfinity win, and how he won it, is the cherry on top of it. You wrecked yourown teammate for a win Ty. Again. And to add insult you injury both cars would've advanced to the final 4 anyways if he would've raced his teammate clean. Brandon would've won anyways but still. Smh I feel so bad for Brandon Jones. He's a class act and a gifted driver.
What he said about the sport was spot on. Best guy doesn't win, it's the guy who preserves his stuff for the end which us what ruined the sport. All those years of trying to give JR a championship ruined it.

Honestly I would love to see Brandon Destroy Ty next week but something tells me he wont. They guy is too respectful and always takes the high road. He reminds me too much of Mark Martin. Hell of a wheel man and always respectful. But you gotta stand up to the bullies sometimes and humble them or they will ALWAYS run you over. In this situation though the entire field has to get payback on Ty for his BS this year. The argument can be said for Noah as well though Noah at least owns it and doesn't shy away from it and doesn't put on a saint act. I know i would love to see Brandon do it and pull a Matt Kenseth but i highly doubt he will. Wouldn't be surprised if JGR just straight up pulls him from the car or threatens him leading into the final race to avoid that from happening.

This chase stuff took the top team over the course of the season out of the championship and made it to just who holds on and puts most effort in at the end in my eyes. Call it old man mentality if you will. Bug winning a championship should be about who is the best all year. Like they just said you could win every race up to the chase and have just 1 bad chase race and loose it all.
Ty didn't need the win to get in...Brandon did and the team would have had both cars in and could have done serious damage to the championship. A true teammate would have let him win. A real team player works for the benefit of the team. Lost all respect for Gibbs team.
Such a remarkable difference between Brandon and Ty. Brandon understands his position and conducts a rough interview professionally. Represents his team and his sponsors well. On the other hand, Ty comes off as a punk kid who is full of himself and considers that it is okay for him to do or say anything his ego wants him to. Embarrassing for his team and car owner. Doesn’t represent his sponsor well. Totally unprofessional.
If Gibbs doesn't finish the race next at Phoenix cause he got put in the wall. From Brandon he deserves it. Brandon was taken out of championship. Gibbs needs the same treatment

Joe Gibbs has turned back into a devil like he was at the Red Skins in the 80’s , he’s raised and grandson just like him, poor sportsmanship, Gibbs wouldn’t even shake hands with the coach after a game.
