One of the best interviews I have seen of him. She let him speak without interrupting him, and she didn't flood him with questions about Bruce; he spoke freely about him. He looked comfortable. Painful to see all that potential gone. Reminds me of Jeff Buckley in that sense.
Hi I want to said dont need to k ow his personality life in past move on he was teen troublemaker yes let it go ! Why is peoples been ask brandon question family's leave it alone !! Have a good night !
I feel like Brandon is the only actor I know to actually take interviewers seriously and listen to them and answer their questions honestly and properly.
So bright, articulate, charismatic. You can just tell he was a beautiful soul. We all lost something special when he died. There's no telling what good things he would have further contributed to this world had he lived.
Handsome. Well behaved. Incredibly smart. Wonderful man. Amazing actor. Brandon had so much to give, yet his time was cut short. After all these years I still wish he had a second chance at fullfilling his dream of becoming the actor he always wanted. He would be one of the greats! Thank you so much for this unique interview!
He's so handsome! His face is so chiseled, exotic, and beautiful! He knows how to dress, sit, and talk. He's at the perfect height, built, ect. He's the real "Mr. Perfect!" Every female who interviews him is probably thinking "is he single???"-Lol
Well spoken . Handsome .strong martial artist. Actor goning for better and better . So many potentials for him God bless your soul Mr brandon lee Good interview. Thank you Barbra
Well done Linda Lee, for raising Shannon and Brandon to be such beautiful, intelligent and we'll balanced children/people. Bruce would be so proud and thankful
I love this interview because for once it’s not all questions about Bruce/inappropriate questions about his death. This woman was a pro. She was extremely professional, polite, and allowed him to speak. He seemed like such a downright all around nice guy. Just humble, down to Earth, polite, and well spoken. I really hope a proper book is written about his life/adventures. Thought it was even sweet with the rent-a-boot joke to kick things off. She was right, he was charming/well spoken. Heartbreaking to see him get so excited over The Crow. So sweet. Brandon we miss you!!!
Its just ironic that a guy that put himself out there - exposed to life's natural disasters and risks (hitchhiking), could have had something deadly happen to him at any given moment ends up dying prematurely on a movie set by gunfire. A movie set! More ironic, an AMERICA one! In Hong-Kong they do risky stuff, no rehearsal, lots of dangerous improv - yet he found his dismiss on a "all union" american movie set. You know what's wrong with America? Their love for GUNS. They have to put gunshots on every movie they make. And make it look ridiculous too. Still the wild, wild west selvage country, with a plastic surgery make over, in my view.
Brandon and River dying was so sad. I wish they were both still alive and acting or doing whatever to make them happy. I wish Bruce Lee were still alive as well. Just imagine how different the world would be with those three still with us.
Brandon Lee was just beginning his film career. The things he would have accomplished with his talent, looks, and martial arts skills. He was just about to come out from his father's shadow. "Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever." Rest in peace Brandon.
Can you imagine what he could've been doing today if he were still with us. He had the handsome good looks, he had the acting chops and he had so much charisma in his interviews. So sad but I'm still a huge fan of his, R.I.P.
What an articulate young man given he was expelled from high school! Chilling hearing him talk about guns though. Some horrible losses in 93/94 with Brandon, River Phoenix and Kurt Cobain all going pretty much within 12 months.
His experience after leaving School and then hitchhiking would make a great Movie. I'm sure he would be a successful producer/ Director if he was alive today.
He'd be doing pretty much the same thing Chad Stahelski is doing now. The difference being he'd be more successful because he can also act. Where as Chad Stahelski is a stuntman not an actor.
As I was watching the interview for a moment it seemed to me that he's not passed away . But as soon as I realized that's not the case, I felt really sad. Thank you so much for sharing it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Same, it’s so sad when reality hits and he’s no longer here. Him and Jeff Buckley I always see parallels that they had to deal with questions all the time about their dad and had unfulfilled potential but we will always have Brandon’s films and wonder what if
30 minutes of a new interview with Brandon - oh, what a gem! 😍 Thank you so much for uploading this interview!!! I had no expectations of seeing any new content on Brandon, especially such a long and charming interview 🙏
What an amazing person he was,is the first time that i see that the interviewer was focused just on Brandon's life and making amazing questions about his carreer and childhood,Brandon was really confortable on this interview,so sad that he passed away to young age,r.i.p Brandon.
This is possibly one of the best interviews I've ever seen him do. Kudos to the lady hosting, she actually asked him questions about himself and his life opposed to all the other "so you're Bruce Lee's son" comments and so on. Very nice, very refreshing. My compliments to the video poster, bless you. 😊
The part when he talks about his next project being The Crow is so heartbreaking, yet the impact he made on this world through that film is so important. As an artist and as a martial artist I sometimes wonder if he would have still done The Crow knowing what his fate would be.
I never saw this interview before! What a beatifull human being he was! I love him so much. When l'am thinking about beaty Brandon is always the first on my mind. ❤️❤️❤️
Such a fantastic interviewer, one of the best I have ever seen!!!! She gives a stage to Brandon to shine the way only he could shine. Thank you for the upload, it made my day as a loooooong time Brandon Lee's fan ❤️
Ive seen almost all of his interviews and the main questions are around why he left school. He lost his father in early age and no one but no one asked him how is he dealing/dealt with the loss.
Very nice interview, thank you for sharing it. It is, of course, bittersweet seeing Brandon like this, he should've been around much longer, but I do feel like we know him a bit better from this interview. It sounds like he lived life fully, had a lot of adventures & growing experiences despite his tragically short life, I also appreciate how he seems happy to give credit to various people who helped him in different ways (teachers, directors, stunt doubles, etc.), it's nice that he wanted to give other people credit for their contributions, too. On the audio commentary track for Rapid Fire the films score composer recalled how Brandon thanked him in person for his work, said it was rare for a film star to express appreciation for the composer's efforts.
Wow, at 9:57 onwards, he talks about the dangers of having guns in martial arts films/production. It is very weird considering how he passed away. Very talented individual.
And unfortunately there was an incident that is similar to what happened to Brandon very recently. Alec Baldwin accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun. And it’s bringing back feelings for Brandon’s tragedy. Shannon (Brandon’s sister) tweeted on the page she made in memory of her brother that she sends her condolences to the families and crew involved and that no one should be killed on set. Period. 💔
@@andrewnelson5286 and the thing is both tragedies could have been easily prevented 💔 Shannon had a talk with Brandon’s fiancée Eliza (the Lee family remains close to Eliza to this day) recently and said that both of them would like to advocate against guns on set. She said she was in contact with both Eliza and their (her and Brandon’s) mom Linda.
@@atrainofthought99 That's so true! Just goes to show that everyday is a blessing and we should not take anything for granted. Life itself is such a tremendous gift 🙏
what scares me about this interview is that around 9:59 onwards he basically predicts his own death, this with other interviews where he speaks of death and stories of him telling people that he knew he would die young send chills down my spine, but nevertheless may he rest in peace
Super cool dude love listening to him. First time I saw the the crow it was my kinda movie dark broody. I love that movie and that's how I knew about Brandon Lee amazing guy so sad he died .
Man, what watching this has brought to my mind is the realization that Chuck Norris has endured more grief than I'd previously been aware of. One of his close friends passed away suddenly (Bruce Lee), and then a freak accident in a film takes that life of the man's son who he was also close with (Brandon Lee). Fucking intense.
He mentioned about people getting hurt on set. This is wonderful previously unseen footage but that part of the interview stayed with me. Very sad indeed. Gosh, I wonder where he'd be now had he not have passed in 93'.
8:20 - I really like that he is saying the exact thing Michelle Yeoh said days ago about her introduction to movies in China. There's a lot of improv, no rehearsal, no plan, just ideas and "do it" type of mentality.
Hearing Brandon talk about the crow made my heart stop, life isn't fair. I hope his family are well and that he and his father have found peace, one day I'll go to Seattle and visit their graves
Bobby is such a OG. She knows what she’s doing. I’m so happy she did not bombard him with so many questions about his father RIP Brandon Lee RIP Bruce Lee. I was actually at the set in Wilmington, North Carolina, where they shot the crow TMNT1-2 etc. I was auditioning for Halloween kills. I said a prayer for him right before I auditioned on my call back it’s so sad.
Ahh the gun comments... in my opinion he absolutely was psychic & had some precognition about how he would die, possibly on a subconcious level. he also made several comments to an ex that he felt he was going to die young just like his father, she was a writer & published a piece about him which stated that 💔. what an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, talented man. his story is tragic but he was so incredibly graceful & inspiring. total rare gem of a human being. ❤❤❤
This is a great interview..I didn’t know a lot of this about Brandon. Usually every interviewer grills him about his father which he graciously entertains but you can tell he would rather speak on his projects.
