Brandy was not the typical young girl. She didn't fit in the mould society imposes on girls. She had different hobbies and styles, and she longed to be accepted for who she was. There was nothing wrong with her. Raised in a Christian family, Brandy felt slightly pressured by family, friends and society to express herself a bit more femininely. This left her feeling confused about her identity. The traumatic experience of a sexual assault by a man led to Brandy hating men. Words from her friends and colleagues led her to doubt who she really was.
She was seduced into a lesbian lifestyle for seven years. However, a time came where she knew she couldn't live a double life. Her faith in Christ was more important to her, yet she struggled to understand why she would perish in hell were she to pursue this lifestyle. Brandy sought the Lord Jesus in prayer for guidance, and she was convicted. In the strength of God's Spirit, she faced her girlfriend, and told her that it was time to end the relationship. Brandy surrendered her life to Jesus, and dedicated herself in service to Christ.

I've heard this from a few people on how difficult it is to leave that lifestyle. Sin has a way of entangling you in its web and doesn't want you to break free. The longer you stay in sin the harder it is to leave. Think if you were to marry this person just how much more difficult it would have been to leave. Thank you for sharing, if you get a chance to look at Becket Cook's channel he has similar stories on his RU-vid channel.

Sin is sticky, you truly have to work to get out of it and remain out of it, through staying in the word & around spiritually strong, like-minded individuals. I have been in such a long-long battle.

I was a tomboy very young but after puberty I never wanted to look like a boy. I just realized I liked girls the way I was supposed to like boys. I never wanted a boyfriend. I always developed feelings for females instead. I have repented of that lifestyle and I am a Christian but I still do not feel attraction for any men. I had to starve that sinful desire and have to protect myself consistently. There's no abuse in my past or anything.

I tried to have boyfriends. Noone has tried to be heterosexual more than I have. I always had alot of men interested in me so that wasn't the problem

I left my beautiful wife because of the spiritual battle that was going on in my heart. The Lord brought strife into our relationship that ultimately ended it. I couldn't even feel good about leaving because I knew that if the strife hadnt veen there I would have stayed with her. Then the Lord revealed to me that I couldn't even take credit for leaving. God simply wasn't going to allow me to be at peace in my sin. And even my leaving the relationship was God's grace.

Cindy, don't try to force yourself. Just focus on living for our Lord and Saviour. Start each day by turning it over to Him, knowing that He will guide you to do the good works He has planned for you. Rest in Him. Some of us may be married, and some stay single. But if we keep our eyes on Him joyfully, we will have fulfilled lives no matter what happens. God bless you.

Thank you Brandy, your testimony gives me hope for my loved one. You have found the "Pearl of Great Price" which is the promise of eternity and relationship with Jesus. Some days will be tempting to go back, but I want to encourage you to never let go of that which you have taken hold of and that which is holding you.

Hellen, stay in quiet, consistent prayer for your loved one. Be the kind of Christian family member whom your loved one can come to, knowing that you love them unconditionally. Don't focus on their sexuality when you are with them, but talk about things you would talk about with anyone else. Like Brandy, your loved one has much to work out. Hang in there. The Lord is at work. God bless you.

Hellen, thank you! I will be praying for your loved one. Seek the Lord on how to respond with each encounter you have with this loved one. The Holy Spirit will guide you. The most difficult part of having loved ones stuck in this lifestyle is that many associate not accepting or condoning their sin as hate. Show them Godly love and allow the Holy Spirit to to do the work on their heart. Hang in there! Praying for you and your loved one!

Interesting anxiety comes when we are doing right according to God's word everytime I see when people are not living according to God's holy ways what lifestyle sexual lifestyle drunkenness,etc
