Brannan Island State Recreation Area has a beautiful campground with 140 campsites (91 standard, 13 tent only, 11 RV/trailer only, 6 group, 4 day use and 1 cabin). All campsites have paved pads, a table, fire ring and grill. Almost all campsites are very large with ample space between neighbors. Maximum trailer/RV size is 36 feet. The campground has a campfire center, picnic area, drinking water, flush toilets, showers and an RV dump station. Group and hike/bike campsites area also available. There's also a marina and boat ramp.
Our favorite Brannan Island campsites are: 7, 10, 23, 34, 45, 50, 51, 59, 62, 65, 71, 78, 82, 86, 87, 94, 96, 97, 99 and 100.
