Brantley you did great even though ypu called it fast talk8ng. That's what rap is fast talking in tune. You did a great job.i love ypur music always. For7 or8 years now.❤❤
I thought the same way. But the financial reward of giving it to someone who was bigger than he was when Brantley wrote the song makes complete sense. If would have released it himself, he wouldn’t have reaped the same financial rewards as giving it to Jason Aldean. In summary, this is a smart decision for him at that time. If he wrote the song today, I can see it being more logical for him to release it himself; the reason is that he has built his career to a higher place than when he initially wrote this song about 10 years ago.
BG wrote it with CF. It was colts song. Colt opened for JA. Jason saw the crowd reaction it got so he asked colt if he could do it and the rest is history
BG made a fortune on this song most likely. The songwriter is the one who gets all the royalties. and it’s common in country music for artist to write songs for other artists. Jason Aldean never sings his own songs. He writes songs and gives them to other people.
