I've had so many hard days after losing my 2 sons in horrible car wrecks within 2yrs of each other. I couldn't have made it without my faith in Jesus. Josh and Matt were so much of my life and now that's gone. We shared a love of music and Brantley Gilbert was and is still my favorite ❤
I was also in a car accident. I was riding my quad across the road(I was 13 at the time). I was wearing nothing but a swimsuit and flip-flops (no helmet or protective gear). The truck hit me at 75mph+, I flew for 35 yards while skipping on the road on a hot August day. I lost 6-inches of my tibia, by tibialis anterior muscle, and pretty much all the skin on my left leg, I have had 18+ surgeries over the time period of 6 years, and I am still not done with surgeries. I was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and my skull is cracked all around. God is good, Jesus Christ preserved my life! Christ saved me from my accident. I know that your boys' lives are in God's hands! It will be awesome to go home with Jesus someday and meet all our friends and family who we have lost!
Mr. Gilbert, From a Marine vet, thank you for this song, especially this version. Every human has hard days, some more than others but I think we can all agree that we all make the best of those days by taking praise in the good memories of each day. You ripped open some scars with this song and I know it’s to let me know that it’s going to all be ok. I know that the scar tissue caused by the unseen wounds will heal softer instead of the fast, hard scars we all know to well. Thank you sir

I lost my beautiful momma January 4, 2020 and 3 months later, April 12,2020, I lost my fiancee to luekemia, after a year and a half of fighting so hard to get rid of it. This song is amazing and had me on the floor crying out for my momma and my my honey, Jeremy....

Stopped listening to country radio many years ago. The new country just isn't the same! Very few songs catch my ear. Was in a little family owned store and heard this playing and could feel the emotion coming from this mans voice. Hard to sing along to it without getting choked up! What a song! ♥
I lost my friend 5 months ago to depression and it hasn’t been easy I think about him and I pray for his family everyday. I’m struggling with depression and anxiety but I’m fighting each day even though it ain’t easy because that’s what he would of wanted I miss my brother everyday 💯

Keep your head high it's rough i lost my grandma to ovarian cancer late 2017 it gets rough but she beat it 4 times before it took her away she was 54 but keep your head high and stand by him that's what he will want the most and everything will hopefully come out ok just know if your by his side he will always have a smile on his face ☺💓

Me too, just still so recent and cannot forgive him right now. God knows how broken I am right now and it's very tough....3 kids together, 18, 13, 3 and been together almost 20 years... I am a believer in Jesus Christ and praying He heals and restores our marriage or give me the strength to win this war if divorce is the answer.

Hard days can slam us and they seem like they won't ever get better. Life is a ship, you steer into storms that seem to last forever. Just ask for the Lord's help and you might see light shine through the clouds. God helps you through troubles. I've had hard times but God has steered me into the light, and the ship hopefully will go to calmer seas.
