Reviewing Braun's new shaver Series 9 Pro 9477c with smart cleaning base and charging Powercase. I shared my honest review. I tested the shaver for four days and seven days long beard. Honestly, it is the best investment for me.
Great to see a real world demonstration in use rather than a product review, also the cleaning demonstration was real beneficial. This is at the top of my shopping list 👍
Get it! I am now 6 weeks into owning my Pro Plus and it just does what it is suppose to do. I have zero regret. For my face, it shaves as close as my Mach 3 WTG. I can't do AGT with a cartridge.
@@paulcarlin5181 I agree with you they shave as closely as a Mach 3 for me as well However, because everyone's beard grows differently, sometimes foil shavers can be a bad idea for some people and rotatory shavers like Philips can cut better for that person.while for others rotary shavers can be garbage for that person while foil better depends on the persons beard but technically foil shavers shave closer only if it works for that person like they work for me and you .also message to grant you don’t need get the pro plus it cuts the same as the original pro version just slightly better side burn trimmer that most of us don’t even use anyway and bit of a change to how it looks
Today my package arrived with the 9 Pro 9475. This is not a battle, this is perfection itself! Thank you for the video!🫶 The shaving quality is excellent!
I just bought one and your review has really helped me how to use it. After seeing your video and honest review, I am sure I am going to like this shaver for sure. Thanks for your honest and detailed review of this gadget.
I see. Thanks for watching and commenting. In the manual, I couldn't find information about it, so I contacted Braun, and they explained it. I gave feedback them about the manual.
I was reminded this morning why I enjoy mine so much. The misses was taking way too long in the shower so I just shaved myself bald without having to put shaving cream etc.
Excellent video and simple, i love it bro. You’re very helpful and you covered exactly what i need. The only thing is why 3 blue lights alays ON while cleaning/drying? Is it standard?
Thanks for the compliment. 🙃 Three light is not standard. It depends on how frequently you are using the shaver. If you use it daily, one light will be on, which means light cleaning; if you use it less, it will clean more deeply. It calculates how long your beard is daily basis.
Are you still enjoying the Braun 9 Pro after 1 month? How is it with the neck hair? A lot of electric razors struggle with that. Thanks for review, I enjoyed it.
I was wondering if you have bought a replacement head for this razor yet, if so, which one is it? Mine is EXACTLY the same, but they call it a series 8 pro 🤷♂️. The only thing that is different with Mine is the carrying case. Mine doesn't have the charger. But thank you for sharing, and I hope you have a part number for a replacement head.
I didn't buy a head replacement. It is brand new. They suggest that it be replaced every 18 months. (depending on usage). I believe the 8 series uses an 83mm head. 9 series uses 93 or 94 mm. I don't have the part number sorry.
The instruction booklets supplied with the shaver are simply dreadful and totally unhelpful. Diagrams that really make little if any sense and no written explanation. I am genuinely surprised that a company that purports to make world leading brands can package them with such appalling customer instructions.
Thanks for the video. The build quility of this 9 series is very poor. It is plasticy and it squeaks. If I would not know better I would say it is a Chinse clone. But it does shave well.
@@WiJoY78 i bought babyliss pro. It did a good job on cheek part but it left some neck hair. Thats why i sent it back. The thing is i almost everyday shaved my face but still didn’t work good😑
When you pick it up from the cleaning base, the lights come on and disappear soon. And when you are done shaving, after turning the shaver off, the images stay a bit and disappear. If it stays constant, that means something is wrong.
I’ve had mine for 11 months now, and I noticed the blade on mine was struggling to shave 6 days of growth on month 6, and on month 8, I noticed it was struggling with 4 days of growth, but now that I am on month 11, it cuts 3 days of growth, which is ok so far, but I will probably need a new blade on month 13.i dont feel like am getting 50 to 60 mins from a single charge I find my self having to charge it every 3 to 4 shaves despite shaving for 3 mins .maybe I got a dodgy battery with mine after all if those batteries ain’t charged for so many months the battery can lose capacity and they come with the shaver flat so it could have been in the shop for a long time before I bought it and that could have effected battery capacity which I intend to replace. If you want to save on cleaning solution, just put the cap on the solution when the cleaning station is not in use; it stops it from evaporating, and you only need to use the cleaning station after every 3 to 4 shaves to save on the solution. I do find the cleaning station to be worth it. I ran out of cleaning solution. I would use sink hot water and soap, and after a month, my shaver smelled, so I went back to the cleaning station. Don’t buy other cleaning solutions; they are rubbish. I tried them only. Stick to Braun cleaning solutions, or if you want to make your own, which I intend to do, just use isopropyl 70% alcohol. Add cented oils to isopropyl and it will lube the shaver and make it smell nice, and you can re-use a Braun cartridge up to three times with it, however If you intend to re-use the cartridge, just rinse the shaver under tap, get hairs out of it, let it air dry, and use the cleaning station. Once it’s dry, it will stop gunk from building up in the cleaning station, making it easy to clean a Bruan cartridge out before refilling it with isopropyl. Here in the UK, it costs 26 pounds for 6 bruan cleaning cartridges and 4 pounds for delivery, making it 30 pounds and 5 litres of isopropyl. 70% alcohol is 30 pounds, and that would last ages by reusing a cartridge at least 3 times .the Bruan cleaning station never seems to fully dry a shaver like bruan claims and I don’t no anyone who said it totally dries theirs either but Panasonics cleaning station totally dries the arch 5 and arch 6
Bruan states you should use the cleaning station after every shave. Just say that, so you buy more cleaning solution. Most of us use the cleaning station after 3 to 4 shaves since it's not necessary to use it after every shave.. I don't bother getting the hairs out of the shaver after a shave; I only do it after I have had 3 or 4 shaves, then rinse it with hot water and soap and get the hairs out, then let it air dry for a few hours, then use the cleaning station. reason why I do that rather than just stick it in the cleaning station. Sticking it keeps the cleaning solution clear and stops hairs from going in it, so when I use the cartridge with my own solution, it's easier to clean the cartridges out
