Thanks for the video. This has saved me some time reading over the manuals. My shaver arrived in the mail today. I am hoping for great results to help with ingrown hairs.
Thanks for the great review and information. I have purchased many brands of electric shavers over several decades, including Sunbeam, Remington, Norelco and Braun. In every case, I found shaving with an electric razor to be so inferior to a blade that it was a waste of money. I am now contemplating upgrading my very old Braun 360 Complete and getting the Series 9 Pro. Every time I have been disappointed I think myself a fool for trying. However, I have seen so many positive comments on this one, I may roll the dice once again.
Braun Series 9 Pro wish it had come with a coil cord for the charging station, that big-ol long cord just makes more clutter. I used a Series 7 for many years was very happy with it. I did order a coiled cord, so I'm pretty happy. I does cut better and more comfortable for me. Good up-grade.
Did you find any difference between the 92S and 94S cassettes? I'm trying to decide if it is worth to wait for about a month for the 9460 or just get the 9390 now. The price it's about the same.
Hi, thanks for a great video! I have the Series 9 Pro but mine came with a charging travel case so I’m a bit confused why you’ve not got that? I am very impressed with this product the last time I used an electric razor was about 1990 and I can tell the improvement and the 1990 was a top of the range shaver also.
Yeah that right, I believe there is a total of 3 models available. The basic one has a “Charging Stand” then you have model with the clean and renew system. Then the newest addition is the charging case. It was not available threw Amazon (Not in Stock) so I didn’t get it and for me I’ve never run out of power in 1 week and I’m ok with taking an extra power cord since I have some from older shavers that are cross compatible. I do think the charging case for some specific people and or situations it would be ideal.
@@frkre05 It’s probably a waste for me to have it also, was a gift from girlfriend. I’ve got to say that I’ve never looked forward to shaving so much, it take a lot to impress me as I find there’s a lot of hype with much, but this is a damn good product! Thanks again for video!
@@frkre05tell me something friend I have the black Braun series 9pro to buy what does the up and down button do ?what is up for and what is down for ?
you can plug it in directly to the razor, but not to shave. It gives you a 5 minute charge time so if you wait 5 min, you must then unplug it, and you can shave like its fully charged!
Hi, which one would be a better option for someone with sensitive skin or which would you highly recommend? i’m stuck deciding between the series 9 or the 9 pro?
Have you used electric shavers before? It can take 2 weeks for your skin and beard to adapt. How thick is your beard? I have a tough beard, so if you don’t, the Series 9 can do the job. The Series 9 Pro will at first make ur skin feel like itch but goes away if you shower then after 3-4 shaves it goes away. Using Afta (Walmart) can help in a more comfortable shave. Also if 💲 is not an issue then you can’t go wrong with the Pro, hope that helps.
@@frkre05 my boyfriend has, i am hoping to gift him a good quality electric shaver this upcoming christmas as the one he previously had caused him skin irritation and small cuts. However, i still am stuck in making a decision and overwhelmed in the world of men’s shavers. He has sensitive skin and often shaves, he doesn’t grow a beard but i’d love for him to use a shaver he finds comfortable, a good experience and easy to use for his grooming time. Some help would be much appreciated!
@@moshimoshi6621 The Series 9 and the Pro which is the one on this review are both great options. I have used them for 10+ years. Now the Pro I can say after using it for a couple of weeks now, is the best I’ve had. It’s a $20 difference and it’s ok for you go for it. If he experiences irritation ask him to use Afta PreElectric they sell it at Walmart it’s like 3 bucks. So you apply this cream type lotion to all your beard (small amount) let it dry then shave I guarantee it helps for extra sensitive skin. I bought a series 9, (not pro) the 9370cc and I was a blade shaver since I started shaving as a teen. I tried many electrics, (mostly older Norelcos with rotary heads.) I always had bad razor burn on my neck and a poor shave, so I gave up on electrics! Recently, I came across some youtube reviews for best electric razors and became so curious, I researched and settled on Braun! After buying on Amazon, and trying the Braun 9370, I was amazed! Took down a 2-3 day beard growth on first shave, and I felt like it was the best shave I'd ever had. I've used it every other day since then, and no more blades for me! I actually look forward to shaving now! I'm still getting great shaves, (I always use the clean and charge stand after each shave to make sure the razor is clean and head cartridge properly lubed) I take the head cassette off after each shave to quickly tap it out in the sink and knock out the majority of hairs and skin cells it picks up, but I never rinse it, just blow it out a bit to help remove the major part of the hairs and crap! Then put the head on and into the clean and charge and let it do it's thing. I always shave dry, cause I find I get the best results and no razor burn! I DO use a bit of after shave, (Clubman Pinaud Citrus Musk Eau de Cologne) just to lube the skin on my neck, but I am amazed there's no burn since that was a problem with all other razors! So, yeah, the Series 9, non pro should do the job for you just fine, or at least my 9370 has for me! Lastly, I love the Braun shave so much, I am now buying a Pro 9460 and I already bought the charging travel case on eBay for about 100.00! I'm hooked on Braun shaving now and I'm getting the pro for regular home use, and I will use the 9370 as my travel razor and pack it in the charging travel case for on the road!
How hard is it to get a cassette replacement for the series 9 pro? I just bought a pro and cannot find a 94s cassette anywhere. Maybe that is the wrong cassette? Well, shouldn’t be a problem for another 12-18 months, but would like to know if anyone has found the replacements in stock anywhere. Thanks
I will soon post a review of the series 9 Pro and also post a Series 9 VS Series 9 Pro video. Subscribe and you’ll get notified when it’s up. On this video I will post an answer your question.
They just started preorder selling the newer cartridge (94s) on Amazon and it will ship in July! It works on all Series 9 Braun razors from my understanding...
@@lonewolf82007 this is great news!! My current cartridge appears to still be going strong, but I was starting to wonder how long these replacements might be unavailable.
Yeah I noticed that, so now I had several shaves with it and I notice it cuts up the beard hair in smaller pieces. Also feels like some skin shaving, something like exfoliating as I notice small white particles.
@@frkre05 I've noticed those white/gray particles also, and assume (like you said!) it was skin cells/exfoliating! Which to me is a good thing! Clearing them off your face!
Valid point there, but since I have never seen one my self I’m just assuming the case that comes with the model I bought could also protect it just as good.
I bought one on eBay for traveling. The case is not only a hard and durable case that could keep the razor from getting damaged, but it also keeps the razor charged for about 2 weeks so there's 2 reasons to own it right there! I frequently visit friends who live 12 hrs by car, and stay a week or more. That should keep me charged up! And when I take flights, it's nice knowing the delicate razor head will not be crushed by crazy baggage handlers! Reason enough for me!!
Just goto Walmart or Target or mostly an drug store and they should carry the cleaning liquid cartridge. I got a packet of 2 from Walmart. They are also sold on Amazon.
