In this Episode we take a look at the premium Electric Shaver from Braun the Series 9 Pro, which comes with everything you would ever wanted from a Shaver. Available from Amazon UK for £279.99 amzn.to/3GrgyJN
I need to shave everyday and the series 9 pro lasts around 14 days between charges. It is not the closest shave I have had with electric shaving but is good. It is quieter than some shavers I have used in the past. The user manuals are very poor, they do not explain all the display features very well at all, but simply state the obvious. Removing the cleaning brush from the charging case is difficult. It is a lot of money for a shaver, would I buy it again? Maybe.
Oh interesting that you find it quiet, it is much louder then the Philips I compared it with, but then others might be even noisier. I do think, at least for me, the charging case is a huge bonus, especially when traveling :)
I placed the product in the SmartCare Center. There were 2 drop marks, this mark disappeared after 2 minutes, but the symbol in the middle continues to flash with an engine running sound, I took the machine out and it is still completely wet this time, how long does it take to completely clean? I put smart care on the machine again, pressed auto-clean, 2 minutes later, the drop sign disappeared, but the light in the middle still flashes and there is still a working sound of the engine.
I gave up watching this when you stated that it’s a European charging plug, this is totally wrong. What it has fitted is a standard size UK shaving point plug, which is slightly smaller than the European standard. You can however buy an adapter to a 3 pin uk standard plug from Argos for a couple of pounds.
old school series 7 is so much better than series 9 pro the Pro gives me irritation, the 7 is smoother and closer, braun needs to bring back the old series 7 Cleaning station on the 7 is 1000 times better then the series 9 pro cleaning station, Braun has gone a step backwards
Do Not Buy the series 9, I bought 2 and both died on me within 1 year. Apparently, according to the Braun service guys, the motherboard died. They replaced the motherboard, but within a year the motherboard failed again, but since the 2nd failure happened more than a year later, I had to pay for the motherboard. I told them to dispose my shaver. Buy the Series 7, more reliable
