If anyone is interested, I use a cheap white eyeliner as a “guide”. Hence going over the area properly within the lines & not the same area multiple times.
Thanks for the update. I’ve had mine sitting in the cupboard for 6 months…I think partly from nervousness in how to use it correctly and partly from nervousness from the need to shave especially any areas on the face. I waxed the first 20+ years, then went with laser for my bikini line and underarms plus I had a few laser treatment on my lower legs but it became too expensive. Listening to your recommendation I realize it’s time to get on with it…I really want to reduce the hair in those areas I still have hair growth - so thank you for the inspiration.
I love this device! I can only tell there's a big difference because I have a tattoo on my ankle that I can't use this on lol and the hair there is always spikey within a day or two whereas the rest of my legs are smooooooth 😍 My bikini area is proving to be a little more stubborn than the rest of my body but I'm not giving up 🤣 Have had my ipl set for almost 2 months now
I've been using mine for a few months and adjusting the sensitivity for different areas is a must. The highest level is fine on my legs but I wouldn't be using it on the same level on my armpits lol
Hello I wanted to ask you. Because it is something we do alone at home and not a specialist, is it clinically tested by dermatologists or will it cause a problem on our skin? This is what keeps me from buying it
Hey dear! I got mine a few weeks ago and I noticed that the head isn't covered in transparent glass. You can put a finger inside it. Is yours the same?
Thanks so much for your review. For some reason mine didn’t come with instructions? So I’m wondering how you knew that you don’t have to shave first to use this (I saw that you commented on your other video that you don’t need to shave first)?
Hi Elly :) Thank you for the video. I have just recently purchased Braun IPL and I used it only once so far but I am wondering if I did it right 🤔 so my question is when you do the treatment do you go over one area only once or you should do it a few times? Because it took me less than 2 min to do my legs but I watched many review videos and they say it takes them 10 min and I don't understand how🙈 Also when I was doing this at the salon, they would go over my leg a few times because those machines have timer, so fo legs it was 5-10 min maybe more I don't remember for sure. I hope my question makes sense ☺️ Thank you in advance for your help😘
Great question. Are you doing the stamping method, or gliding method? My only concern is if you’re going to fast and may be missing some hair. You can go over the area one more time, but I wouldn’t do it more then twice
@@UptownWithEllyBrown Thank you for replying so quickly 🥰 I did gliding method because it was more comfortable ☺️ Maybe you are right and I was doing it too fast. Perhaps I should do stamping method and then I wouldn't miss anything 🤔 But if we are going over one area once it means Braun is more powerful than machines at the salon😃
I’ve read on reddit do not ever use IPL / laser on eyebrows! Possible fire hazard and potentially permanent damage patchy hair growth or no hair growth of eyebrows. This is not the method to use
It’s worth buying!!!!! I bought mine two months ago and I’m so mad at myself for not getting it sooner. I bought it at bed bath and beyond, used a 20 off 80 and a 20% off.
I have just bought it on Mother's day 2 days ago and I am too excited to use it. After watching your video my confidence has boosted a lot. And you have replied to my question so fast it really appreciable 😘
I used mine for the first time today and noticed that it looks like there were burn marks in the inside of the head of the device?? Did this happen to anyone else
There is something i am curious about it should we shave the skin always before use the machine or just for the first time we use that machine ? I mean if we do it once in a week does it needs to shave ?
When you gonna use the the machine there shouldn't be any hair on your skin. If there's hair on the are that you're gonna use you should shave it before and if not you're okey you can use the machine directly. Sorry for my bad English 😂🙆
If your hair is long it likely won't zap the follicle, it will just zap the hair. It also might hurt more. Also if you wax it won't find the follicle because it works by finding the melanin in your hair. It turns on and off automatically when you plug it in.
I have hair on my upper lip and chin, black stiff hair and light skin. I should be the perfect candidate for this machine. Unfortunately, this is just a big hoax. Used it for 7 months and no reduction at all! Used it on my arms and leg, inner thigh, armpit etc, absolutely no reduction is seen. I have taken pictures before and after. I miss seeing you guys do the same, before and after pictures.
