Hi Corrie, sorry for the late reply. I will try to do one. You literally just hold down the button while moving it along the area. there is a delay. I would probably say it is quicker just to press the button when you want it to fire (otherwise you have to glide very slowly)

Hi Sarah, no you don not need to apply anything to the skin prior to using the IPL machine. I would recommend leaving 24hours before you shower as well as with any kind of hair removal or IPL treatments.

This is important. No plucking beard, have to shave it :)

It worked the best on my underarms and also I don't have dark patches under my arms which sometimes people get when waxing. I think it worked here quicker because the hair is darker and thicker.

Yes you can either shave or if you don't fancy using a razor/trimmer on your face you could try something like threading or waxing and then waiting for the hair to grow slightly above the skin before using the machine.

Hi, Yes you could use depilatory cream. The hair has to be slightly above the skin for the IPL to target the hair so maybe leave it a couple of days between using the area and using the machine. I hope it works for you x

How long have you had it for? Do you think it's used all the flashes. If you havent had it for long I would take it back and exchange it for a new one under warranty

I have photos/videos from before I started lol but I'm not brave to upload it 🤣... it really did work ! My husband noticed it as well as literally my armpits knuckles and legs has zero hair for more than a month. And I zipzap my legs not religious straight for 12 weeks 🤣 as I always forgot it.. I have an ASIAN light medium SKIN AND SUPER thick HAIR!!! I had lots of ingrown hairs I swear to you.. it kinda helps a little for ingrown as the hair was thinner and slower to come back.. Its a good investment i must say! You must try it.. and I don't recommend cheap brands for this... I guess safety first before budget when it comes to beauty tools such as IPL :) HAVE A GOOD DAY!.

Yes you should be able to but you will have to probably wait a few days after for the hair to start growing a little before using the IPL machine

I'm not sure it will effect ingrown hairs as there needs to be some exposure of the hair so the light can pre aerate the hair follicle. I would just suggest getting a good exfoliate and using this regularly. My Braun came with an exfoliation electric brush so this helps reduce ingrown hairs too .

Could be, because my bf was reading about the one with 300 000 and when he came to the store first they wanted to sell him the one with less flashes although they were the same price.

Edita Hvedica There is another difference: 2 "soft levels" instead of only 1 of the previous model. Actually I find it useless since the "Very soft" mode delivers very low power, I guess using it in that way your hairs will not be affected at all. In my opinion, the new machine is exactly the same of before (specially the lamp), that's why they didn't change the name of the model.
