I know teachers don't get paid that much. Do these school board members get paid that much? I know Los Angeles does have salaries up to $125k for its largest districts if the member has no other employment, half of that if they do, but other places don't go above $60k, some are below $50k, and many pay nothing at all! I don’t know how it works in the states but in Canada they have pensions for life with a massive salary throughout their entire life. And they want to go after doctors and business owners please see how quickly they change their tune when taking a piece of their salary comes into question. If we’re taxing the rich why do our elected officials get a break? Please if they followed their own rules they would be taxed as well, they constantly vote to give themselves raises does that seem fair.
