The thing with these new high tech foods is that they don't want to play second fiddle to the current dairy industry, they want to replace them (and take their revenue), so that's why they don't want to give up the word milk and for two reasons. One, people are already familiar with milk and two, at a molecular level they are the same thing, the only difference is one is produced by a natural bioreactor we call cow and the other is produced by an artificial bioreactor that mimics what a cow does.

Thank you for sharing this breakdown. This product and products similar to it is opening new doors to what we now can view products as through technological advances. It sparks so many theories. I may kind of stray away from them until I get a better understanding of the process and approach, but it is very interesting

Okay. Here's what I found on their website: "The bovine whey protein gene was digitized in an open source database. Microflora are given the blueprint of the gene sequence, and then fermented in a tank along with some plant sugars. The result? A non-animal whey protein." "The non-animal whey protein we use is molecularly identical to whey protein from cow's milk, so we encourage ice cream eaters who have a milk protein allergy to take the same precautions they would take with dairy." So, better living through science and technology? Was it more expensive than other vegan ice cream? Thanks for the review!!

Thank you so much for sharing this information! You’re right, the levels to the genetic make up of this product definitely has me cautious. I ended up randomly getting this as a free coupon from one of my Kroger shopping sprees lol. I did check the price and it’s at $4.99, which is about the same price point, maybe a little less, than other vegan ice creams.

@@FrobulousVeggies thanks for letting us know the rieview and price of the product Can you tell me what is the average price of general dairy icecreams in america or canada,of the same quantity as that of brave robots So that we can make a price comparision between the real one and the idenctical one

Hey 👋🏾. Based on my 3 favorite brands the average cost for vegan ice cream for me is $4.69. In the past prior to being vegan, I used to eat Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice cream and the price is about the same at around $4.59

You’re welcome and thank you! Yes, this product definitely had me on the fence still. It says it’s lactose free and animal free, but I’m still iffy lol

You are correct and wrong at the same time,i dont know how you are putting it First of all it is identical to dairy,but not really dairy,but it does not come from animals,or harms the animal im anyway so,vegans can happily eat it without feeling any guilt But if someone is allergic to dairy they should stay away from it
