Just started learning video editing software so thought I would upload a video about my favourite character on tv right now! Please be kind, this is a first attempt Also this song is called Brave by the incredibly talented Riley Pearce
i am still mid 20s, not come from divorce family. But I don't even know why, I do have feeling divorce is what sort of led to Ted Lasso being a hit. What makes Ted's story great and Jason's performance great is that both Jason and his character experience a divorce, it helps drive the emotion and hardships in the show and we see other characters go through similar hardships. It allows the people to relate highly to the show and its characters. Ted Lasso's story feels like Jason was pouring all his ideas and experiences into story, specifically 'the divorce' scene. It can be said, that's the point which make the people (who's watching) can relate to the show. Ted Lasso and the Casts are deserved more awards.
This is so beautiful, I can't believe it's your first vid! It's such a fantastic, detailed character study that captures so much of Ted's human/vulnerable side. You included so many great moments, and it's genuinely emotional. You definitely have a knack for storytelling. I hope more people discover it, because it deserves many more views! Thanks so much for making & sharing it ❤
Didn’t realize until watching this the subtle hints of Ted’s appearance (when his hair was perfectly styled and clothes were perfect = him hiding his feelings inside and led to the panic attacks). When his hair was down and no one could see were his worst experiences. Later seasons, he was still dressed well but wasn’t so worried about being perfect and putting on a perfect appearance.
This is outstanding! The best Ted Lasso vid I've ever seen. Full of emotions, fears and humanity. So Perfect! And this song! My god! Fits perfectly! Lyrics makes me cry! You did absolutely amazing job! Thank you!
"The thing about football - the important thing about football - is that it is not just about football." Slightly spliced from Sir Terry Pratchett. Maybe this is not quite what he meant, maybe it was, but it is still very true. And just as important, this was a fantastic piece. The show itself is grand for more ways than I don't even need to pretend to try and say. The way it's portrayed mental health, especially with men who are "too strong" to speak up about it, is brilliant (but not nearly enough) The point though, is that this edit is brilliant. Great song choice, too. Kudos to the person who did all this, I've watched this a few times already, and know I will come back to it more than a few times in the future. It's an excellent piece of work, for a variety of reasons. Thank you.
Oh this is so lovely!! Beautiful song choice and the scenes you used... wow. I love Ted so much and this video really pretty much encapsulates why. Thank you for sharing!!
Just seeing this (April 23, 2022) and all I can say is that this is brilliant. You hit all the right notes and was so very well done. Big congrats!! NEW subscriber here!!
We can all agree that the only one who deserves no kindness right now is West Ham United coach, one Nathan Shelley! You and Coach Lasso get all levels of kindness!
Fantastic first go at it! There are a few things that can be improved and I'm sure you'll get it with time. The first overall thing you want to do is figure out the story you want to tell. The auteur theory is something that goes into whose story is it. Actors say it's theirs, Directors, writers BUT EDITORS have the final say and they change an entire story based on how they cut things. My one piece of advice would be is to find that story. Is it Ted's fight with anxiety, his issues with Nate, relationship with Rebecca? Find an angle and edit around that to make it fit your story. Best of luck!
@@Phatdan94 There were some parts that were muddled or unclear of what was shown. Music was really good but there were parts where "Brave" didn't stand out.
