It's very satisfying to see that First (not)Sliver deck going completely on autopilot and get absolutely destroyed for not reading Soulless Jailer thoroughly. Funny thing is if they were an ACTUAL sliver deck, they would have been mostly unaffected. That's what you get!
That first game was a masterpiece. Amy during every episode: Vorniclex has reach! Me last night attacking in with a Sprite dragon: I forgot Vorniclex has reach!
Have been thinking about making a Grenzo hate deck, because 8 hate Grenzo. Thank you for saving me the time, effort, and tears! As usual, a god send of entertainment!
And here I thought my happy little elephant Quintorius Kand did well against Grenzo with it being lower cmc, (usually 4 cmc permanents) and a lot of board wipes and removal. I’m glad I’m not the only one tired of Grenzo’s crimes.
Modern policing and forensics owe many of their innovations to an ex-thief, Eugène-François Vidocq. Amy out here with her historical reenactment like we wouldn’t notice.
Funny. My best anti-theft deck is playing jank. I made two Grenzo decks surrender to the jank of my decks. Edit: As a Gruul, Jund and Rakdos player I thought I didn't read shit but the guy with the First Sliver, he beats me...
They were definitely not reading because they put the Sliver back into the command zone _with_ the perpetual cost increase??? There were multiple ways you could have gone about that and you chose the worst possible option
Thinking aloud. I believe the passable answer is the rules committee doesn't like how busted sol ring is but it is tolerable because of the 99 card variant. Mathematically you have less than a seven percent chance of sol ring being in your opening hand. I really try to build casual commander decks without sol ring. To each they own! 🤷🏽♂️
I feel like the Brawl queues have been off. Is the flip Avacyn or the Giest of St. Traft really in the same queue as Grenzo and Golos? Hasn't felt fair since i started playing Brawl again (i started playing it again because of last week's Midweek Magic. New Satoru is super cool)
@@AutkastKain FWIW, i think Geist of Saint Traft gets difficult matchmaking because it can be built as an extremely explosive and uninteractive tempo deck. Hexproox 3 mana commander that can be supported with blue counterspells and white removal
8:29 Sol Ring isn't even an auto-include in every deck. Most decks, sure, but personally I run two decks without it because they're packed with more synergistic ramp pieces. But at the end of the day it's just a fun, iconic card that can't really be played anywhere else.
Theres no way Grenzo's steal isnt rigged, every time i play against him i get my chromatic orrery or paradox engine stolen first time they get it for free instead
Heist is out of balance. Buying cards is not really random in mtg arena. The algorithm takes in consideration the amount of lands to non-lands in your deck. After being heist 2, 3 times, I just buy mana. This is stupid and just show how week the mtg arena algorithm is.
