I was the guy in the beginning on the white quad coming down the hill. she busted her lip open and cut her leg up but otherwise was okay. she wasn't riding like that until the camera came out. like all of us we try to show off when someone gets out a camera and show how badass we are for her she was riding a little over her head but you take the chance jumping down hill especially with a sketchy pad your jumping off that has ruts and such. I think the jump just came up on her faster than she thought and it happens to the best of us, misjudging what's ahead.

She had a leatt neck brace and boots on. A high dollar helmet properly fit. The only think she didn't have was a chest protector and pants which neither mattered in this incident. As stated she has over 10 years riding experience and has jumped off that hill at least 300 times.

I hope she's ok.......but gotta say GREAT camera work - keeping both subjects (bike and rag-doll) in frame!

Shit happens when you ride, I used to ride quads until I sacked the fuck up and switched to two wheels. Quads don't take nearly as much skill, but when you wreck on one you're probably going to get squashed and tossed, worse than a bike. And you also can get lazy, thinking your safe on four wheels. A dirt bike will always keep you honest. Regardless, this chick was shredding! She had shred sauce on her shredded shred tacos! Props to her for her skill, regardless of whether or not she ate shit. Everyone eats shit, EVERYONE. Just fix the bike, fix yourself, and go ride! Braaaaap!

Glad she was okay, but hope she learnt a lesson on knowing your limits and not to try show off.

People don't get that it doesn't take much to kick a quad sideways in a jump. I've been racing all my life and last weekend it happened to me and I missed the foot peg on my right side and my leg got caught between the ground and heel gaurd. I was able to ride it out but barely but now I'm dealing with a severely bruised muscle and sprained ankle. It can happen to anyone and by the way she rides she isn't a beginner just a little unlucky.

I have eatn so much sand at glamis place is fundangerous.. one holiday week sometime in late 1990s i was on my KX 250 riding a wheelie hit a lil kids circle track went end over so many times cracked my new bell moto 7 bad..couldnt ride for the rest of the week..

In my opinion, when the quad left the ground, the right tire left the ground after the left tire. Therefore the right tire still gripped the sand and turned the quad sideways towards the left. I don't see why else the quad would turn that way in mid air

I mean ots what you get for riding like crazy down hill so fast, you should've done what ur brother did and slowly went down.

Wondered who was going to crash until I first saw her quad on the vid. Knew right away that person was riding above their skill level. Parents should have slowed her down a little.

Glad she was ok. We're all a family out there, wanting only good things for our fellow riders, especially our kids. Finding joy in someone else's misfortune or calling him/her rude names is plain wrong. She was doing great up until the bounce sideways. I've done the same thing and count my lucky stars the bike rolled away from me.

Never trust the face of a torn-up dune. The ruts and ridge's will grab your tires and yank the handle bars right out of your hands. Go fast for sure, but Straight up and Straight down with wheels on the ground. Glad she's ok...ride on 😉

A good friend was killed out there in 99, by some drunk teens in a pickup. That guy LOVED Glamis. He's at Ft Rosecrans, since he was a fellow Veteran. I'd like to thank the Rangers that tried to help him. I know they did their best.

I learn my lesson the first 5 minutes I was at Pismo beach Riding and that is pay attention to where you are and your speed its a lot of fun but in a blink of an eye you could easily ride off a huge dune cliff. You can tell she is a good rider and knows what she is doing she was just going to fast down that dune slope and got the wheels side ways she is very lucky that Quad didn't land on her neck. I'm glad she is Ok I cant wait to go back next year its a blast out there most people don't realize how big those dunes are and how much space is out there its massive space and plenty of dunes thanks for video and I'm glad she is Ok

Glamis is a ton of fun, but riding way too fast on that 450. She looked to be at the edge of control for most of the ride and the power to weight ratio coupled with a generous thumb and that there you have it. Did she learn?

If you have never crashed up than you don't run hard enough. Imo you can be the best rider in the world . When the ass end swings wide like that and you get the hop very seldom can you pull out of it. She just dug in too hard. She lived so that's a giant plus.
