The S Humaitá is a Brazilian submarine, of the Riachuelo Class, derived from the Scorpène Class, manufactured in Brazil, launched on December 11, 2020 and commissioned on January 12, 2024.
The Riachuelo Class vessels are larger in length, tonnage and carrying capacity compared to the French originals. The Brazilian version is 71.62 meters long and weighs 1,870 tons, compared to the Scorpènes' 66.4 meters and 1,717 tons.
