I have traveled dozens of times to SP and have always discovered the equivalence of discovering a new solar system within the galaxy of Sao Paulo. The city just keeps expanding. Not only does SP have the highest japanese diaspora but also the highest Lebanese, Syrian diaspora, Portuguese and Italian Diaspora

As a paulistano I am honored on how accurate you got the Gotham City vibes. The grittynes just grows on you and gets to you at times. There is really nowhere like it in the world.

Existe um lugar em São Paulo que ninguém visita, mas que é incrível! O pico do Jaraguá! Com 1135 metros de altura é o ponto mais alto da cidade, com bastante vida animal, e também com uma comunidade dos índios Jaraguás, possibilita uma vista em 360° da cidade e até além. Lá também é o lar do pôr do sol mais lindo de São Paulo! Visitem lá!

Hoje moro na Liberdade (Finalmente consegui comprar um apartamento onde sempre sonhei morar). 11:20, you almost made me shed a tear. I'm from São Paulo, born and raised and I've been living abroad for nearly 2 years. The bar you're at is actually in São Joaquim, which is the neighborhood next door to Liberdade where the actual japanese now live. I used to train Kyokushin at this neighborhood and celebrate after our practices and championships on those bars! This video truly made me homesick, but also reminded me why I went away. São Paulo is amazing to visit, it's hell to live in.

Graffiti (Pichação) is no longer just that rebellious street art you mentioned for a long time now. It is also related to drug trafficking criminal groups, such as the PCC in SP. Awesome video though. Pure art!

The poor side, the very wealthy side, the stadiums, the museums, the best food in the world! The parks, specially Ibirapuera, the old downtown, Avenida Paulista, the Faria Lima Avenue (the heart of business in Brazil nowadays), and the food again, the italian food (São Paulo is the bigest Italian city in the world), the arabian food (São Paulo is the bigest middlewest city in the world), the barbecue houses, the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, (the building the I most love here, made by the same architect who made Meracado Municipal, Ramos de Azevedo) the Sala São Paulo (one of the best concert hall in the world) and wondwerful, the Praça da Sé, with its gothic cathedral, the Mosteiro de São Bento, with its veeeeeeeery expensive brunch (wich worth every cent), the iconic Copan Building, and so many other things we have here. And more food!!! :) like the most typical São Paulo's sandwich, o Bauru do Ponto Chic. Well, just let me know... Oh, BTW, you have a very nice text, and good shoting too.

I live in the interior of São Paulo, a city with 56 thousand inhabitants. And an issue that I make clear unfortunately is that in the city of Sao Paulo you cannot be inattentive especially with your cell phone as the crime rate is high. The city is wonderful, it has everything and is an absurd mix of gastronomy and cultures. For those who don't know Brazil, one thing I can say here is that there is no sadness, every bar, every nightclub, every corner, happiness and fun are guaranteed. And congratulations on the video, you gained another subscriber. Impeccable production.

This neighborhood is a classic tourist destination. You should also visit other neighborhoods like Perdizes, Pinheiros, Butantã, Lapa, Alto de Pinheiros, Itaim Bibi, Jardins, Vila Mariana, Morumbi, etc. They aren't as gray as downtown.

Great video, you made the city look inviting and vibrant. I lived there for 6 years and hated it. I felt exhausted always looking over my shoulder and never feeling safe, it's an experience for sure that city but living in the mountains is better.

I am from a small city in the countryside of São Paulo, just ranch and trees behind. More fresh air and close to the beaches. You should visit Campos do Jordão. Brasil is huge, you have all the world in one country.

Eu sou de Cuiabá MT, tem 680 mil pessoas apesar de ser capital do estado, 1 milhão na região metropolitana, ficou isolada até 1900 só por rio, mas tem 305 anos, na verdade foram bandeirantes paulistas que vieram a mais de 400 anos na primeira capital, mudaram depois do ouro, mas de 1970 começou a crescer, o crescimento econômico é igual o da china, de fato a agroindústria abastece a china, embora tenha esse crescimento e tecnologia as pessoas aqui são muito mais tranquilas, calmas como cidade pequena, amigáveis, embora as noites aqui tem muitos lugares e seja muito mais animada que várias capitais, é muito diferente de quando fui em São Paulo, as pessoas não tem tempo ai, aqui o tempo você não tira das pessoas, elas tem e exigem mais parques, ir para o entorno onde tem muita natureza, comida boa, restaurantes, eu acho que nesse ponto é muito similar com as pessoas que fundaram a região, o r do interior paulista similar, mas na alimentação se assemelha entre minas e o centro oeste, pratos com receitas antigas, temos restaurantes super modernos mas também a tradição acho que é parecido a cidade que é bem moderno com o antigo misturado. Eu não conseguiria morar em São Paulo, odeio frio, mas acho que eles se quisessem morar em um local quente aqui seria o ideal mesmo os do interior iam ficar em casa.

Você mostrou São Paulo como uma paulistana raiz!!! Vivo num bairro central, Higienópolis, as vezes saio caminhando e sempre conheço uma parte vibrante! Nova York é bem parecida, porém sem essa irreverência latina. No meu entender as capitais são patrimônio das pessoas do mundo! Tks 4 this!
