Brazilian barbecue on the street: 500 kg of ribs, 300 kg of sausage, sheep and a country paella. 

A large barbecue on the street was held in the center of Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, in a solidarity action to commemorate the 251st anniversary of the capital of the State of Rio Grande do Sul and the original law of the Executive Branch that allows the population to make their barbecue on city sidewalks.
There were more than 800 kilos of meat, including barbecue and country paella, prepared by a group of dedicated volunteers, led by Ronaldo Pinto Gomes, and with the participation of traditional roasters from the region, such as Renê Barbachan, and groups such as Cabeça de Touro , in addition to the support of different companies in the food industry.
Hundreds of people savored a typical gaucho roast, with ribs, sheep on the stake, sausage, not to mention the farm's enhanced paella, with various types of meat.
The roast was a success and should be included in the official calendar of events in the city, which seeks to consolidate itself as the barbecue capital of Brazil.
