yeah, she's a "dekasegi", brazilian/peruvian with japanese ancestors who moved back to japan. It would be interesting a video about the dekasegi phenomenom, which started in the early 90s

In my town, that is near São Paulo, we have a lot of japanese families and they have a club/community center with a baseball team. They are so important to the city and the local culture that we have a park with sakuras to celebrate them and they make a huge festival every year open to anyone to eat, dance and get to know their culture better. It's really amazing! ♥️

@@FagnerAro Spanish and Portuguese are very similar in terms of lexical. In fact, if you know either one of these, you can master the other in a matter of months. My old friend learned to speak perfect Brazilian Portuguese in 2 months. But you're correct Bruja is Spanish. Bruxa is Portuguese.
That's because speaking another language isn't only about words, grammar and vocabulary. Voice tone, rhythm and gestures are also important aspects of communication
@naturequeene132 I think the way the commenter described it was a bit exagerrated. Maybe that confused you. I would say she just changed her body language a bit.
I work in a hospital here in Brazil, most of the doctors at the hospital where I work are Japanese. In fact, in Brazil there are many Japanese people and people of Japanese descent, there are also Chinese and Koreans.

WOW, her voice speaking in Portuguese is so beautiful!!!! I'm Brazilian, I've lived in Brazil all my life, I understand Japanese very well, but I was enchanted by her voice speaking Portuguese, I didn't expect it to be so different
I watched another video of her, and she explained that although she looks like a Japanese woman, her friends at school didn't consider her Japanese because she doesn't have "pure" Japanese blood, she said she was a mix of Japanese and Italian. I'm Brazilian and I soon realized that she is from São Paulo, in São Paulo there was a large immigration of these two people.
She is also choosing to constantly just renew her visa instead of applying for citizenship. She's been there long enough to be able to apply and get citizenship.
I’m from Brazil!!! People don't know this, but Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community in the world. We even have a neighborhood dedicated to Japan. It's super common to see Brazilians/Japanese in Brazil.
She’s absolutely stunning. Edit: wow you people are sad. So many comments telling me…. Not to be attracted to her? She’s my type, she doesn’t have to be yours. Also, most of yall aren’t even showing your faces.
Fun fact: Brazil has most Japanese people outside of Japan (most living in São Paulo state), this includes people from Japan living in Brazil and Brazilians born by a Japanese family or descendants. São Paulo has a small Japanese neighborhood and it's called "Bairro da Liberdade" or "Liberty Neighborhood". The first Japanese people first step on Brazil on 1908 most looking for jobs in Brazil due the lack of jobs in Japan on that time.
true this, but European immigrants to Brazil were treated better in general. Japanese immigrants around the early 1900s were considered farmers and lower on the cultural ladder. I have the receipts.

I was wondering when a Brazilian-Japanese would show up here. Brazil has the largest Japanese colony outside of Japan, my hometown (Londrina) has a lot of Japanese people, including myself. I’m Japanese on my mom’s side and Portuguese on my dad’s side. Now my daughter is 25% Japanese, 25% Portuguese mix and 50% Indian
she actually has japanese and italian heritage. most brazilians are descendants from other countries. “pure” brazilian people (ethnically) are indigenous people.
Brazil has the largest Japanese community outside of Japan, I myself was raised alongside immigrants from Japan and they were always kind, friendly and polite, and most Brazilians welcome them with open arms and in a friendly and happy way, we are a country built by immigrants, and therefore, to a certain extent, their culture is also part of ours.
@@zzzzzz69 Yes, there is, the problem is that many of these recipes that combine Brazilian and Japanese tastes are considered strange by the Japanese, and to be honest I agree with them in some cases.
You don't think that Brazil having a shit ton of Japanese and German people after WW2 isn't a little suspicious? Welcome with open arms!?? That's crazy
History says it has to do with the navy. And the Gracie family being exposed to it, there was another big player in Rio at the time as well. Gracies don’t have a clean reputation… Most of the Japanese that went to Brasil, made a living out of farms and similar work.

I lived in South America for a long time, and when I first heard Portuguese I wrote to my mother that it sounded like a Frenchman speaking Spanish with bees in his mouth. When I could say that well in Portuguese, Brazilians got a kick out of that description.
I live in a Brazilian community here in the US. Originally the community began as Portuguese but over the last few decades it has transformed to mostly Brazilian. We have people from all over the country so there's a huge variation in the accents. People from the northeast talk very different from the South and people from larger city cit's have a different accent from people in the country. It's not unusual to sit at a table with people from Rio de Janeiro, Patos de Minas, Goiania, Rio Grande do Sul, Carmo do Paranaiba, O Linda, Fortaleza, Sao Paulo capital, interior do Sao Paulo, etc.
As moças descendentes de japoneses que vivem no Brasil, por algum motivo são em média mais bonitas que a maioria das japonesas, pelo menos na minha opinião conhecendo ambas. E as mestiças também são muito bonitas.

Brazil holds the biggest japanese community outside of Japan in the world, so not strange at all! We are so used to it that sometimes we kinda forget that our indigenous people also have silky straight black hair and small eyes, so anytime a child is born with these characteristics and lighter skin, we kinda just assume they must be of asian descent (like me and my brother! Not 1% japanese blood, but people ask this to us from time to time)
Fun fact: there are Japanese families who immigrated to a state in Brazil (Pará) with the Amazon rainforest. Past generations learned from native communities about sustainable planting. Nowadays, the cocoa (of very high quality) produced by them is exported to Japan 💝
Also Brazilian Jiu-jitsu started in Pará State after this Japanese immigration. The Gracie Family then migrated from Pará to Rio de Janeiro, they also brought the Açaí culture to their's BJJ academies, and Açaí culture spread through the whole country.
You 2 dummies are goofy. Brazilian is not a race or ethnicity. It's a nationality meaning you could be any race or ethnicity But simply being born there makes you a Brazilian.
Here in Brazil there are many descendants, it is the country with the largest Japanese population, everyone has a friend, family member, knows a Japanese family
Pakistani man said this , who cared if they betrayed me , a lot of people died or never got to see Canada, but his friends who loved dearly got to visit and stay for years with him for the love and friendships they had knowing they never were apart of his family and accepted him for who he was and cared cause they weren’t apart of his family.
Cocktail heritage?? You do realize EVERY human has cocktail heritage right?? We’ve all shifted and moved around this planet and mixed with people that were not from the original area our people came from at the beginning of time. That’s just human history so it’s hilarious to me how you make a comment about “mixed” cocktail heritage when in fact EVERYONE has cocktail heritage. I look, like I’m 100% German, my family has lived in Germany and that area since the first recordings we have, yet my ancestry can be traced back to 9 DIFFERENT AREAS, no-where near Germany! Wouldn’t expect that, considering all of my family has lived in Germany, we don’t have people living in other regions of the world, yet, even though I am “german” being a HUMAN, means you share human blood with the rest of the world, which has shifted, changed locations all over this planet earth. Her face is gorgeous because of the Brazillian blood. Most Japanese women are not stunning like her, they are cute and pretty but not drop dead gorgeous like this woman.

@@russellboone6759 no, during the second world war there was concentration camps for the japanese population living in the USA, for the fear of having spies amongst north american society. they were forcibly moved to the midwest in small cities, where there are many japanese communities to this day. during the war they spent long periods of time in encampments, which were in horrible conditions, essentially the US made its own citizens prisioners of war and never gave a single reparation
When the United States went to war with Japan, it treated all the half and mixes mixed with Japanese and Japanese blood on suspicion of spying and sent them to concentration camps in the United States.
