Natsume Yujincho will always and forever be my favorite anime. Cannot wait for a new season! This just made me realize that Sailor Moon started over 30 yrs ago. My sister and I watched it when we would get home from school every day. It was the first anime I ever watched. I guess we don't count Thudercats as anime technically.

I’m glad to hear Sailor Moon was mentioned. It’s definitely one of my favorites. If you’re into romance though … you can’t go wrong with “Fruits Basket”. “The Apothecary Diaries” is a great anime series too, if you like a good anime mixed with romance and mystery. 😉

Its because the new seasons haven't been promoted as much other than online, while in japan its mostly about toys/merch sales and banner promotion that influence a lot of the watchers. This is early 2024 too where the ongoing or recent animes are often what gets mentioned, whoever I am hyped that cour 3 tybw is going to be banger with the new studio pierrot studio launch (Pierrot Films).

Only one Hokuto no Ken lover! I'm getting old, haha! But when I was in Japan a few months ago I still saw posters for it in convenient stores. Well, now that I think of it, there are more 40 and 50 year olds in Japan than young people, maybe, so HnK is still popular.
