Almost the same doesn't mean the same, our cuisine is derived from a huge variety of cultures, amongst them European so it's only natural that some of our food and drinks are derived from there. Feijoada for example was derived from both European and African culture. So yeah, Quentão is Brazilian just as Grzaniec is Polish.
