I was looking around youtube for this video and was disappointed to see that only low quality versions of this video were still around. I did some digging and found the original source of the video on the R7 channel website. The translated video description from Portuguese to English is: "Rachel Leal, who lives in Belford Roxo (RJ), has 1.5 m of hair and does not cut it for four years. She spends six shampoos and conditioners for six months and it takes three hours to wash the wires. Rachel said she never used chemical or paint on hair and want to cut the locks to sell and get money to go to the doctor.." This episode originally aired on 18/07/2010. I've seen on the comments for numerous videos involving the R7 documentaries with Raquel Leal that there is a rumor that she has since cut her hair in an auction and that there is a video that shows it happening. I have only heard this as a rumor (others have used the word hair controversy) in the comments section and without a video as proof I remain skeptical and refuse to believe it unless I am shown otherwise.
