Mizuno made the best Catchers mits in the late 80s and early 90s. wished I had one of those tools to slap in the MIT back in the day. I did it with a sledge hammer. lol
I have a Mizuno catchers mitt. This one looks good, I had a problem with mine that eve when I broke it in, the web was messed up. It would go inward or something. And that I couldn't pick up the ball with the mitt.
These Nokona gloves are made in my hometown of Nocona. We are only about a population of 3000 people but we have some awesome history and these gloves are dope. It’s crazy how far such a little town can go.
Really? That is interesting! Reminds me of my town, Johnstown NY, about 7,800 people and it used to be the worlds leading leather manufacturer town. Every small town has its own neat piece of history to offer
I’ll say the nocona is one hard glove to break in but I’ve had mine for 15 years now. I’ve played 100’s of games with it and it is still in amazing condition.
Bro it sounds like a bat literally hitting it to you and it literally sounds like a barrel touching with the Eason not be rude but the glove is actually very good though
Simply put, quality costs money. They're designed to perfection and made one at a time by skilled crafts"people" here in the United States and they only use the best leather available. Major (most) manufacturers use every means possible to keep overall costs down like inferior materials and cheap labor.
I always put a little glove oil on a fresh mitt then put a softball in it and wrapped it tight with a belt over night. Next day I could mould it how I wanted
It’s not even close. Their walnut leather especially is so oily and rich, feels like it should be being used for luxury goods not a baseball glove. They’re expensive but it’s the best leather I’ve ever felt on a glove.
Only $540 🙄🙄🙄. I don’t think that company understands competitive market forces when it comes to pricing. Only $160 more than a Rawlings Pro Preferred.
