*Not really.. That stage setup with a jump for the Rocks protects AIRMAN yet offers no protection for BreakMan. Give em Flat area or change his tornado 🌪️ in some fair way, hes bestable!*
Breakman Challenge commentary (Spoilers, again!): 🔥VS Heatman: Breakman's AI works more against him than for him here. Sure, there are times that his shield could block the damage, but if he just learned to wait, then there would be times where he could take less damage 🪃VS Quickman: There really isn't much that Breakman could do here. Quickman just moves around too much and jumps too high for Breakman to get in a good shot, and even accounting for contact damage, the Quick Boomerang's tracking ensures that unless Breakman accounts for them, they'll just shred him. Small wonder Quickman won. 🍃VS Woodman: 2 shield users, locked in combat...wait, I though Breakman's shield deflected projectiles! In either case, I noticed that Breakman CAN, in fact jump over Leaf Shield...intresting. 🔥VS Fireman: Breakman actually took the win here?!? Ok wasn't expecting that! 😱Although...it still feels wierd for his shield not to deflect anything 💣VS Crashman: Breakman paces back and forth, inside walls reinforced...refrences aside, I honestly thought Breakman has this one in the bag, especially due to Crashman's "one projectile onscreen limit" making it harder for Crashman 🌪VS Airman: Once again, wind physics rears it's intimidating head. And...Breakman's jumpiness is now screwing him over. Great. Breakman, you could've at least hid in the pit and tried to get some shots in...😑 💣VS Bombman: Bombman's pretty smart here, aiming his throws so that way Breakman's caught in the blast radius. I was rooting for him anyways! VS Metalman: Wait, Metalman WON?!? Consider me suprised! I thought Breakman had this victory since Metalman runs in place most of the time.🤣 🔥VS Flameman: First intresting note, Breakman's jump height clears Flame Blast, so it's all down to placement here. Flameman actually seems to be accounting for where Breakman is going to land, so I thought it was going to be a bit closer. 🐴VS Centaurman: Centaurman seems to be fighting smarter instead of harder here, as proven when his first splitshot clips the enemy a suprising *4 times!* The second splitshot hits 3 times, and the next hits 2....but Centaurman seems to be stuck in the pits for a bit. This was closer than I thought, but you did well, Centaurman! 🎉This is my first time seeing Centaurman in action, and I'll watch the other video when I can! 🪓VS Tomahawkman: Tomahawkman...are you sure you know what you're up to? I guess the opponent was too jumpy for you.🤦♂ ❄VS Iceman: MUCH closer than I thought...Iceman's attacks require precision dodging, but Breakman contact damage tries to close the gap. A fun match to watch! Here's hoping more Robot Masters end up having contact damage enabled! 🌩VS Elecman: Breakman was too jumpy for Elecman, and despite the wide hitbox of the Thunder Beam (and even with Breakman jumping into some of his attacks!) he just didn't do too well. Like I've said before, once his ability to do 10 damage per hit is taken away, he becomes MUCH easier. Still, at least he had a better showing than Tomahawkman 💪VS Gutsman: There's just something comedic about Breakman's jumps being constantly interrupted 🤣. But again, Gutsman is doomed to fail. Better luck next time, big guy! Thanks for uploading another fun video, these are always great to watch! 😄👍
The superior aiming ability of the Megaman 2 bosses (or in the case of Airman and Woodman, just covering the screen in death) was too much for the old jump 'n shoot. Bombman has a nice AOE effect from his projectiles which assisted his inferior MM1 aiming, and I think Iceman and Centaur man just got lucky.
I feel like the actual stage selection handicapped some of the fighters. Centaurman specifically wound up firing at himself after his shot bounced off the wall directly in front of him. I feel like Centaurman would have had Break Man dead to rights on a flat bottomed stage.
Me before watching the video: wow this really makes BreakMan strong, I feel like he's got too many advantages and I don't know how on earth anyone else will manage to- Me after seeing a few seconds of BreakMan actually fighting: oh. Oh that was to give him an actual fighting chance, and he still loses a lot. Lol
I have never been more ashamed of Protoman(Breakman) to be fair though the algorithm for him in MM3 was merely as a training tool. He was never programmed to actually try and destroy MegaMan, so this version of him is already nerfed to the extreme. I enjoyed the Bowser 1st rules matches more.
@queenmonika-plays119 oh, I love those robots too. but In fact, the hardest robot I can imagine to make is Gravity man 8(. It adjust all the other robots to make one. so I think it will be much later 8)
(sorry for possible disturbing) I just wanted to ask one question about Wily Machines. While you doing Wily Machines... are you trying to connect their phases into one or you will just leave two phases (each phase has it's healthbar) as in the original games? (By connecting two phases of machine into one i mean... If easier, then Wily Machine's phase 2 will be activated in half of Machine's HP. [And during phase 2 activation there will be temporary invincible, like 2-3 seconds] )
@porkp8977 don't worry about it 8-). oh that's one phase. I have it set to HP56 (health can be change) and I program it to transform seamlessly with no I-frame when less than half HP. but .... may not make it this week. hehe B^D
you can really tell a pattern where projectile spammer robot masters have an easy time against break man and collision damage or sporadic moving robot masters suffer
@@derthevaporeon ah, makes sense. I misremembered Protoman having a deflective shield in a video from forever ago on this channel. I have no clue how I could've made that fumble.
I looks like you've got almost all of the Mega Man 2 robot masters working. I'm curious what you're going to do about Bubble Man. Do you just give him his regular attack pattern even when he's not in a robot master chamber with water?
@Zeffarian that's right B^D. he'll fly on any stage lol. but still undecided whether will let the underwater stage react to other robot masters. I don't have much time to program 8(
@@MegaMan-Victory It'll be interesting to see how he does against other robot masters. He fires off quite a lot of projectiles with his Bubble Lead and arm cannon and if he can float around, he may be out of harms away a lot of the time. He might actually end up being pretty formidable.
Mega Man Victory, if you don't mind, i will just write here some "descriptions" about Robot Masters in your battles. Part 1: MM1 1) Cut Man - KUNG FU CUT MAN! (Or just most balanced Robot Master) 2) Guts Man - "I'm not strong, but popular". 3) Ice Man - "Do you ever know my true power? No? Then how about my SHEER COLD?!" (Orig.Damage from MM1 is too insane for normal Robot Master.) 4) Bomb Man - little underrated Robot Master. He can avoid some damage if he wants. 5) Fire Man - King of spam strategy. (Or it's acronym "S2W" [spam to win. New acronym for your community]. Do you like informal acronyms?) 6) Elec Man - smart guy, with his original (but not most effective) strategy. (Orig.Damage from MM1 is also big, so his strategy works better with his original damage) 7) Mega Man Victory's Copy Robot - "i have no strategy, i have no weapons." Or Copy: "Elec, Dr.Wily want to give me some strategy. Can i use yours?" Elec: "Oh, just do something else originally." Copy: "Of course.. of course... *Evil smile*" Part 2: MM2 1) Metal Man - "You, lazybones, can't stand in one place against me." 2) Air Man - tries to be as good as in "Airman ga Taosenai" legend. 3) Quick Man - I! AM! SPEED! 4) Crash Man (Clash Man) - "Crash Bombers goes BOOOOOOM!" 5) Heat Man - Others should have patience and avoid timing to win. 6) Wood Man - plays defensive strategy, trying to do some attacks with his leafs. Part 6: MM6 1) Centaur Man - "not flat arena is my worst enemy!" 2) Flame Man - just tries to be jumping Fire Man. 3) Plant Man - (more aggressive version of Wood Man) 4) Tomahawk Man - second smart guy (after Elec Man) which measures distance between him and his enemy. Also tries to predict enemy's actions. (Next "descriptions" and parts will be real, when more of Robot Masters will be ready.)
Heat Man: Even with his lack of offense, he have a good defence, and he not pursue the enemy like Elec Man. Quick Man: He is faster enough to dodge Break Man's attacks. Also he throws many projectiles Wood Man: due to Break Man's lack of i-frames, the Leaf Shield deals a lotta dmg. Crash Man: the lack o i-frames makes Crash Man really powerful, and his high mobility makes him a lotta more powerful. Air Man: pfffffft, I don't need to say anything. Metal Man: He wins for close, because he have a high power If the enemy have a fast dps, but his lack of defense and offense maked him a bit weak. Bomb Man: He can escape from attacks and get away from the enemy, making a low time to attack the enemy. Ice Man: He is good at dps, and, if at least, he got a defense, he could be better. Centaur Man: his slow dps makes him really weak, but his Centaur Flash makes him a bit strong. Fire Man: He have a good dps, but he don't have any defence, makeing him very vulnerable. K U N G F U. C U T. M A N: As he pursue Break Man, he gets a lotta dmg. Flame Man: He is slow at attacking make him very useless. Super Guts: His Meelee dmg is useless against Break's contact dmg, and the Normal Guts Man attacks... Pfffffft, trash.
@JonasTheReallyBadPlayer It was a very fun article B^D. the fact that there was no reference to Elec man and Tomahawk man was more poor and funny than the Poor Guts LOL
@Donald_the_Potholer thanks for the question B^D. about wins or losses? the number of rounds in the "challenge series" is not decided, so I don't record the wins or losses. It's a fight to see if the robot masters can win if they challenge under the same conditions as Mega man (players). 8) @porkp8977 oh, thank you for asking! 8-)
