Never had a credit card. Never bought a new car. No sattelite Tv only attenna. My phone a no contract unlimited service. I have zero debt. Only month to month bills. And my bank account builds regularly. I work 2.00 above minimum wage. I am at peace and I am happy. I dont buy trends or base my life on what might make me look richer than I am. My car is 26 years old runs fantastic. I dont have to keep up with the jones's. Though I have more freedom than the jonse's.
You, my friend are an inspiration. I'm trying to quit a few thiyes and learn new ones. But quitting a few things all at once is very challenging. Smoking cigarettes. It's a great challenge for me. With Stoic wisdom.. I believe I can accomplish anything..
@@user-lr5ll5qx1zyou should look into using filter tubes and "pipe tobacco" with an injector machine if your inability to quit is costing you big money. I have a strategy where my cigarette making has gotten extremely affordable because American Spirit pre made cigs are $12/pack but I believe nicotine truly has decent benefits and I'm trying to lay off other more destructive vices so I feel like it's still a forward move. I started down this path when I realized how much fire safe chemical was sprayed all over my "organic" cigarettes.
Stoic fortitude. I am a calculated risk-taker. I raised three brilliant creatures as a single parent, while helping other single parent families. When I face lemons, I make lemonade. Been told I am patient as a saint. I simply understand irritation gets us nowhere and that someone else's poor behavior is about their struggle and has nothing to do with me. Stoicism I learned from my Mother to a large degree. Austrian heritage, in part. I find my tribe here.
