After our day at Epcot, the family decided to slightly sleep in in our Savannah view animal kingdom lodge room, and get a more relaxed start with our day. We enjoyed breakfast at The Mara, explored the Savannah overlook area outside the lobby, and then took a bus to Animal Kingdom to have an afternoon of fun! We experienced the Magical Menagerie, walked through the Discovery Island Trails, got a few Dole Whips with lunch, and then took the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch to visit the Affection Section and draw Timon at the Animation Academy Experience. After taking the last train of the day back to Harambe, we went to Expedition Everest, played some carnival games in Dinoland USA, and then ended the day with a ride on Flight of Passage. After taking the bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge, we took a shuttle from Jambo House over to Kidani Villiage for a late (and delicious) dinner at Sanaa before heading back to our room for sleep.
